1. Stutzman Ranch, Wenatchee
Head over the pass to Stutzman Ranch if your kids love crunchy, juicy Fuji and Gala apples. In summer you can also sometimes pick nectarines, peaches, cherries and table grapes. If you get to the farm early in the day, you’ll have your pick of farm-fresh eggs, too. In the fall, pay a visit to the farm's animals, and then watch surplus pumpkins get hurled through the air from a real pumpkin canyon.
Get pickin': The U-pick season is open now and Red Haven peaches are available. Most apple varieties will be ready sometime between August–September. Open daily, 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m., but always double-check hours and availability on the day you want to go. Check the Facebook page, website or call and listen to their message for current U-pick information.
