Kind of blue. Have you thought of going to Wintergrass, but didn’t want to make the drive to Tacoma with the kiddos? Well, Tacoma’s loss is your gain — the family-friendly bluegrass festival moves to Bellevue this year. Whether you visit for one day or all four, you’ll find workshops, impromptu jam sessions, a lively atmosphere and a lineup of fabulous bluegrass musicians. Did I mention it was family friendly? There are kids all over the place. Musicians of all skills levels are encouraged to bring their instruments to jam or to take lessons, but you can always just sit back and enjoy the music. Feb. 25–28: Thursday, 7:30–10 p.m.; Friday, 5 p.m.–midnight; Saturday, 1 p.m.–midnight; Sunday, 11:30 a.m.–4 p.m. Day passes: adults $25–$65, kids $10–$15; weekend and family passes available. 900 Bellevue Way N.E., Bellevue. 253-428-8056.
