0911_gt_scoops_regDid you know that this year marks the Girl Scouts' 100th anniversary? Started in 1912, the first Girl Scouts troop was started by Juliette Gordon Low in Savannah, Georgia. Today, there are 3.2 million Girl Scouts -- and as a former scout herself, Miss Molly Moon wants to help these lovely little ladies celebrate their great accomplishments in the community!

On Monday, March 12, Molly Moon's will be offering free kid-sized scoops of their famous Scout Mint ice cream throughout the day at the Wallingford, Capitol Hill, and Queen Anne locations, and at the Chocolate Box downtown.

And -- because we know that you'll probably be wanting a Girl Scout cookie fix as well -- local Girl Scout troops will be on hand to sell cookies and welcome customers after 3 p.m.  (Cookies and cream -- never a bad deal!)
