Ten-year-old Cullen Steele needs help if he's going to survive.

The Kent 4th grader has been diagnosed with Pulmonary Atrial Hypertension, and needs a life-saving heart and double lung transplant. An estimated $75,000 is being raised by South King county volunteers.

You can help by donating money (details below) or by volunteering with fundraising. If you're interested, contact Community Coordinator Amy O'Donnell-Riley at 253.333.1755 or arjunyer@yahoo.com.

Donations may be made in person at any Wells Fargo Bank branch location using account number 3523561722 or mailed to the Children’s Organ Transplant Association, 2501 West COTA Drive, Bloomington, Indiana, 47403. Checks or money orders should be made payable to COTA, with “In Honor of Cullen S.” written on the memo line of the check. Secure credit card donations are also accepted online at COTAforCullenS.com.

Cullen’s family has asked for assistance from the Children’s Organ Transplant Association, which works to guarantee that no child is denied a transplant or excluded from a transplant waiting list due to lack of funds. COTA says one hundred percent of all funds raised are used for patients’ transplant-related expenses.
