The internet loves a good pregnancy announcement, and it's currently swooning over Seattle rapper Macklemore's surprise news that baby no. 2 is on the way.
Macklemore and his wife, Tricia, spilled the beans on Macklemore's Instagram. The pregnancy reveal was staged within a fake gender reveal party, but with a twist — not only is the duo expecting a second baby, but they've also added a second Seattle show to their upcoming "Gemini" album tour at Key Arena.
Macklemore has made no bones about his love of fatherhood since he and Tricia became parents in May 2015. He released "Growing Up," a song about fatherhood, only three months after his daughter Sloane was born. And his latest album, "Gemini," is largely a love letter to his daughter and his role as a father.
We don't know yet whether Mack is expecting a boy or a girl, or when the bundle of joy might arrive, but at least there's a second concert to tide us over in the meantime. Tickets went on sale Friday at 9 a.m. for the Dec. 23 show; the first Key Arena show on Dec. 22 sold out the same day tickets went on sale, so don't wait if you want to see him live.
