Bakers Royale's Naomi recently put out a call on Facebook asking if readers would rather see fancy desserts that require extra time in the kitchen, or easy desserts with elegance. Unsurprisingly, easy elegance won by a landslide, and Naomi was quick to offer up these gorgeous, yet simple caramel apple trifles.

Made with layers of caramel mousse, caramel sauce, and apple crumble containing fresh apple bits, granola, and apple chips, Naomi promises that this is one dessert that is no-fuss fabulous, yet that's sure to be an attention grabber. And for the first-time trifle-makers out there, Naomi warns: if you must take a store-bought shortcut with the caramel sauce, stay away from Hershey's. She recommends the Marzetti's Caramel Apple Dipping Sauce typically found near the apples in the produce section.
