sp_eric_ode_316x468What to do this weekend? We've got ten ideas. Check our online calendar for more, and post what we’ve missed in comments!

1. Rock out with Caspar Babypants today at 11 a.m. at Northgate (free!), or with PBS host SteveSongs at Jane Addams School in Seattle at 3 p.m.

2. Learn about how birds predict weather -- and how to tell they're doing it -- at Seward Park (Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.)

3. Rock out and eat pizza tonight with Eric Ode at KidsQuest Children's Museum in Bellevue (Saturday, 5:30 p.m.).

4. Circus Syzygy is in town -- and will be performing their mad acrobatics at SANCA in Seattle through next Sunday.

5. Have a Peter Rabbit fan in the house? Go see him live at Youth Theatre Northwest's production of Peter Rabbit stories (Mercer Island).

6. Meet paleontologists and dig for fossils at the Burke Museum's Dinosaur Day (Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.).

7. Explore the science of ice at Pacific Science Center's Polar Science Weekend (through Sunday).

8. Get crafty-collage-y at Bellevue Art Museum (1-3 p.m., Saturday)

9. See a short, interactive production of The Frog Prince at the Museum of History and Industry (through Sunday).

10. Bring the kids to a puppet show! This weekend, Thistle Theatre's Hanako and the Cherry Tree plays in Bellevue; and The Odyssey opens at Northwest Puppet Center.
