The Woodland Park Zoo's new Humboldt penguin chicks sure have a talent for picking their birthdays. The first chick (see video above for teh cute) was born on April Fool's Day, and the second arrived just a few days ago on Easter Sunday. This is the first nesting season for the endangered Humboldts (only 12,000 are left in the wild) since they settled in their next exhibit last May.
They'll be hanging out in a special nesting area until summer, when they'll go on view to the public. In the meantime, get your penguin-chick fix at the zoo's YouTube channel, which will feature updates on their progress.
