School kids

Eastside Catholic School is a private Catholic secondary school located on 55 acres in Sammamish, Washington. Eastside Catholic School is a faith-based co-educational community where students in grades six through 12 learn to integrate their thinking and believing in ways that encourage intellectual excellence, nurture relationships and inspire a life of leadership and service to others. Founded by parents in 1980, the school is governed by an elected board of trustees.

The middle school curriculum focuses on building strong foundational math, science and writing skills. Self-confidence, social proficiency and sense of belonging are fostered. Capable middle school students are also able to enroll in high school courses within the middle school. Our high school program consists of 32 AP, Honors, UW in the high school courses and Seattle University Matteo Ricci courses. Innovative leadership programs are available at every grade level.

Eastside Catholic is the only seven-year, co-educational Catholic school on the Eastside, and offers a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum.

An athletics program with a focus on leadership and sportsmanship

Eastside Catholic is committed to an athletic program of excellence. The primary goals of our high school athletic programs are to accentuate the development of the whole student and to achieve a personal level of excellence in the areas of fitness, team commitment and sportsmanship. Athletics is a significant tool in the educational process of character development and helps to encourage students to lead by example.

At the high school level, more than 20 different EC teams compete in the Metro AAA league. There are three seasons of different sports as well as year-long opportunities. About 85 percent of students participate in at least one sport. Learn more about the High School Athletics program. During the 2011-12 school year, EC football, boys basketball and girls volleyball had the highest average cumulative GPA in the state and each team won a WIAA Academic State Championship. Fourteen teams from EC competed in WIAA postseason play in 2015-16.

In middle school, students participate in the highly regarded CYO athletics program.
