Kitsap Live Steamers is a group of scale outdoor railroad enthusiasts operating a non-profit, 7½- inch gauge railroad at South Kitsap Regional Park.
Group members provide rides on one of our mini trains to visitors, by donation, on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month plus select Sundays and holidays April through October, weather permitting.
Visitors are also welcome to observe the preparation of live steam locomotives owned and operated by our club members. These locomotives are not toys; they are miniature steam locomotives that function exactly as their prototypes did in the 19th and 20th centuries. Ask at the depot for a tour of the Kitsap Live Steamers steaming bays and yard area. Please note that for safety, tours are limited to six visitors at a time and must be escorted by a Kitsap Live Steamers member.
