Story Time: Naupaka by Nona Beamer: Read in English and Hawai'ian by Natalie Bruecher

10:30AM-12:30

Weaving workshop with artist Roquin Siongco: Born and raised in Guam, Roquin began to weave at the age of 7. In his workshop, Roqin will demonstrate and lead participants to complete a woven fish that they will be able to make for themselves.

11:30AM-1:30PM

Face painting with artist Marianne Maksirisombat: Marianne is back for more face painting! Best known for her 3-D canvas and formed steel work pieces, she has created commissioned artwork throughout the country.

12-2PM

Hackey Sack making with artist Pei Pei Sung: In conjunction with the current exhibition, Who's Got Game: Asian Pacific Americans in Sports, local artist Pei Pei will teach you how to make your very own hackey sack!

1:30-3:30PM

Poetry and Collage workshop with artist Selena Velasco: Selena Velasco is a Chamoru mother, visual artist, poet, activist and tender loving virgo. Her art unites poetry and collage to honor her healing journey and Chamoru ancestry.  Come create art with Selena using poetry and collage. Every artist will leave with an unique finished product!
