Celebrate the change of season by exploring the beautiful Sammamish Valley during the annual Fall Harvest Celebration. Visit farms and businesses to enjoy food and farm demonstrations; take a class; listen to music; sample freshly pressed apple cider; taste farm-fresh food; and enjoy a peaceful, crisp walk in a farm field. You’ll find a variety of activities that celebrate the Fall!

Each location will have its own schedule of events during the Valley celebration. All ages are welcome and some activities are free. See website for more information and individual schedules on what’s happening throughout the weekend at each farm and business.

Off the Branch Farm

Fridays 3:30-6:30 P.M. Saturdays 10-5:00 P.M. Sundays noon-5:00 P.M.
See a century-old cedar press, enjoy fresh-pressed varietal ciders, and shop the 90-year old barn store for apple butter, applesauce, apple chips, Blue Cottage jams, local honey, local eggs, fine chocolates, and many more local, farm fresh products.

A Celebration of Northwest Food, Art and Music. Join us for a store-wide celebration – a day of food, fun, art and music featuring some of the best from the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy local flavor from Seattle’s favorite foods trucks, and sample tasty PNW treats from sweet, to savory, and everything in between. Wander through our glass pumpkin patch from the Tacoma Glassblowing Studio and browse gifts from Puget Sound artists, jewelers and sculptors — all set to music by Seattle’s own Sunshine Junkies.

Self-guided tours (with maps) of seven farms. Volunteer on the farm; learn about insectary plants for your farm/garden; tour of the GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) certified wash/pack facility at noon both days.

Enter from the Sammamish River Trail. See a 100 year-old cider press in action on Saturday. Bring the family. Get current information on the weekend celebration and SVA. Walk the farmland trail to 21 Acres event on Saturday, SAgE Student & Incubator Farms and the Tonnemaker Organic Farm Stand. Learn about the educational partnerships and sustainable growing methods practiced by these local farmers and students. Find out more about how you can support the farms in the Sammamish Valley.

Come hear about our Youth Grange Campers summer experiences, take a farm walk and enjoy kid activities. Bring the family and learn about our Valley’s agricultural heritage with local Grange members.

Certified Organic farm-direct seasonal fruit and produce grown sustainably and sold at affordable prices. Fall brings apples, pears, and winter squash.

21 Acres Farm

Saturday, September 23; 10 a.m-4 p.m. and 4-6 p.m.
Explore easy ways you can SQUASH your carbon emissions and celebrate the fall farm harvest. Vendors, artists, music, food, market, tours, activities and more. Join the 21+ crowd at the SQUASH STOMP on the patio from 4-6 p.m. with local beverages and entertainment.

Gathering Fabric Quilt Shop

Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. -5 p.m., Sunday, noon-4 p.m.
Top collections featured. ‘Autumn Air’ is used for quilts, table toppers and décor items. Come by and taste the delicious array of fabric and project ideas for fall. Many free patterns in the shop during the weekend celebration.
