The popular Fourth of July Freedom Fair Air Show will be a 2-day event for 2021, July 3–4. Show times will remain at the historic time of 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
The Freedom Fair Air Show, there will be a midday performance from two hours on bothJuly 3 and July 4 over Commencement Bay that will be FREE to the general public. No closure of Ruston Way will be required and people can simple come down to the opened Waterfront Parks to view the two hour spectacle. The parks have been opened to the public for months even in light of the pandemic, which now is in Phase 3 throughout Pierce County but is expected to be in Phase 4 prior to the event. Given the CDC’s recent statement that outside transmission of the virus is very rare, the entire weekend of events should be safe for the public.
