The Wonder of Learning: The Hundred Languages of Children exhibit from the world-renowned schools of Reggio Emilia, Italy officially opens its doors to the Seattle community on Feb. 3 at One Convention Place.
Visitors will receive a first-hand look at the Reggio Emilia approach to education, which provides visibility to the values of its experience. While experiencing the exhibit, visitors will take a deep dive into six thematic areas, including two hands-on ateliers such as “Ray of Light” that explores light and materials through the use of light tables, overhead projectors, white surfaces and different sources of light, and “Dialogues with Materials” which offers the ability to create compositions and transform natural materials through crumbling, crushing, sifting and powdering.
