This is a guided hands-on activity geared for children ages 3 and above. It is meant to be a fun way to introduce children to different farm animals and ask staff whatever questions they want to ask. Children will meet our goats, cats, pigs, chickens, baby chicks and turkeys! Spots are filling fast-register in advance via email or phone.
We will have baby chicks and PIGLETS for this tour.
Highlights include:
1. Learning how to interact with animals, proper behavior and how our actions affect them.
2. Understanding animal behavior and interpreting how they feel.
3. Learning how to best hold and feed the animals.
4. Petting and feeding the animals.
Class size limited to 10 children; parents must be present. Be sure to dress for the weather as this may be a messy outdoor activity. Closed-toe shoes only please.
