Attention all 6th-12th grade youth!!

Are you concerned about a continued increase in hatred and discrimination in the US?

Do you want to build your skills to use your voice and be an upstander in your community?

Do you want to meet other youth from all over the Puget Sound region who are inspired to work for change in their communities and nation?

Are you ready to make a commitment to change your community one action at a time?

If so, join us for an MLK Youth Advocacy Workshop! 

Join Kids4Peace and our Program Partner, CAIR-WA, for a workshop focusing on building skills to change your communities. Learn about religious discrimination and participate in a Bystander Intervention Training hosted by CAIR-WA. Learn about the current challenges facing immigrants and refugees while building skills to engage and lobby your government officials to make real and lasting change. Explore different perspectives present (or missing) from news media today, and gain skills to use journalism to make your voice heard!

Youth of all (or no) faith backgrounds welcome, pre-registration is encouraged!
