Parkour for All Ages

Calendar/Event Details

Parkour teaches people how to use their bodies to move through the environment and overcome obstacles. By turning challenges into opportunities for physical and mental growth, Parkour is a fun way to channel a spirited kid's high-energy and help shy or even uncoordinated kids become more confident and capable.

Free community classes are held every Sunday from 10-11am for 3-5 year olds, 11:15 to 12:45pm and 1-2:30pm for 6-10 year olds and 3-4:30pm for all ages.

Locations vary, check www.Kongacademy.org for details. Class is donation based and 50% of all proceeds goes back into the community (scholarships for parkour programs and donations to YouthCare, www.youthcare.com to support homeless youth in Seattle).

The location for this class is Seward Park. Meeting point is by the playground next to the Audubon Center.
