Calendar/Event Details

So what is sensory play? Sensory play is also known as messy play. It provides experiences that allow children to receive and utilize sensory input. Play that incorporates a wide variety of textural interaction encourages children to learn in their own way at their own pace. By manipulating a variety of materials children refine their sense of touch, sight, smell, sound and sometimes even taste. The more diverse the textural experiences, the richer their cognitive and language development will be. For children ages 1 to 3 years old and an adult. $15 per child, reservations requested wleberman@jds.org.
