The Wild Wonders Outdoor Theater show and Bugs Alive! program are back!
EXTRAORDINARY CREATURES AND HOW TO CARE FOR THEM
It stars a wizard, a zookeeper and a very smart dog. There are broomsticks, potions and rats. It’s the animal show at the Wild Wonders Outdoor Theater – and it probably sounds very familiar to Harry Potter fans. But “Extraordinary Creatures and How to Care for Them” isn’t really about magic. It’s about how we care for animals – and how everyone else can, too. 11:30 a.m. daily.
BUGS ALIVE! UP CLOSE WITH REAL BUGS
Visit the Bugs Alive! stage in the Nature Play Garden for close encounters with invertebrates. Keepers and Senior Guides (youth volunteers) host live bug presentations. Meet bugs, like a Chilean rose tarantula, tobacco hornworm or emperor scorpion, and discover the important role that bugs play in our daily lives. 1:15 p.m. daily.
