Ignite your internalDrive and do something big this summer. At week-long day or overnight camps, iD Tech campers experience a variety of cutting-edge courses for beginner through advanced learners. Camps aim to strike the right balance between off-computer activities (creative games, sports, life skills, etc.) and essential technology education to foster STEM skill development (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Course topics include video game design, programming, apps, web design and more. Staff are tech-savvy undergrads, graduate students and professionals who are passionate about teaching game design, film, computer science and more. “Oded” means to encourage or invigorate, and our highly acclaimed Counselor-in-Training and Leadership program is built to do just that. As part of a close-knit team, the Odedim live together in the Oded Village and spend a number of days on an extended outdoor adventure. The Oded program is truly a hands-on training program, as the participants plan programs, lead services, create an Oded Project, teach activities and share responsibility for a cabin of campers. As Odedim, these teens learn to look at leadership and life through a Jewish lens. This program involves an application and interview process; not all applicants are accepted. Hidden Valley Camp is a traditional overnight summer camp for boys and girls. Activities include horseback riding, sailing, swimming, arts and crafts, canoeing, drama, archery, sports/games, hiking and much more. Carefully selected and trained staff work with small living groups (1:7 ratio) to help provide a safe, caring, friendly camp community. Hidden Valley Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and is a safe, fun and rewarding experience providing lifelong friendships and memories to campers since 1947.

Live at Dog Mountain Farm and experience farm life. Each day girls participate in care and feeding of animals, preparing garden beds and planting the fields, working in the greenhouse planting and harvesting produce, milking goats, and collecting eggs. Campers will learn basic culinary skills while preparing meals from farm-fresh products, including baking bread and making cheese. Additional topics may include poultry butchering, sheep shearing, soap making and others. Campers reside in a platform tent and sleep on cots. Meals will be prepared and served in our outdoor kitchen.

Find a little bit of France in the San Juan Islands at one of the country’s premier French camps. Campers take part in a unique mix of French language and culture through artistic and outdoor activities. In addition to language experience, campers gain increased independence, self-awareness, new friends, and the ability to enjoy new experiences and food. Tipi-mates are arranged by age, French language class by ability, and the campers choose morning and afternoon activities themselves, including kayaking, sailing, swimming, art, archery, theater, sports, rock climbing, snorkeling, orienteering and cooking. Goalkeepers and Strikers Week is a week of all-round soccer training led by Paul Barron, England International and outstanding goalkeeper trainer for the English Premiership. PB, as we call him, is assisted by a number of college and club coaches including Sergio Soriano, greater Seattle goalkeeper trainer. Paul and Sergio have been training goalkeepers (most notably the Seattle Sounders' Kasey Keller and the Wolverhampton Wolves' Marcus Hahnemann) at Northwest Soccer Camp for over 28 years.

Girls, come climb at one of the world’s best-loved rock climbing areas. Less than an hour’s drive north of Vancouver, B.C., it is home to gorgeous granite walls, beautiful lakes, cool crack climbs and fun hikes. Boasting the second largest granite monolith in the world and awesome beginner climbs, there is something here for everyone. Participants can expect to hone climbing skills, make lasting memories, enjoy a campfire or two and encourage new friends. This camp is a fun-filled introduction to wilderness and community and the perfect adventure for the first-time camper or young mountain trekker. Under the guidance and encouragement of our experienced staff and elders, participants learn to cultivate a variety of interpersonal and wilderness skills, all in a challenging and supportive environment. Campers come away with resources that will aid them in their day to day lives as they approach the mysteries of adolescence.

A call to adventure beckons each of us toward an experience that extends beyond our level of comfort and current understanding. This backpacking program is a fun, exciting and significant first step on a Hero or Heroine's Journey. This camp begins with hiking along the mountain trails of beautiful Olympic National Park, where environmental stewardship is a focus of learning. Participants will also take part in wilderness cooking, trail safety and experience the joy of sleeping under the open sky. Under the guidance and encouragement of our experienced mentors, campers learn to cultivate a variety of interpersonal and wilderness skills, including leadership, responsibility and communication, in a challenging and supportive environment.

The North Cascades have drawn many great explorers. Be the next to explore this wonderland! Boys will start in the National Park and hike (with a backpack) down to Ross Lake, where they may see eagles and falcons, catch fish in the clear waters and share stories and marshmallows around the campfire. High in the Cascade Mountains is a land of clear mountain lakes full of fish, meadows filled with wildflowers, and snow-capped peaks called North Cascades National Park. Boys attending this camp will have the park as their classroom as they learn the basics of backpacking and fishing. Campers hike through old growth forests, cool off in Ross Lake, fish for trout in mountain streams and develop leadership skills in workshops and in practice, each boy managing the team for a day.
