As part of a close-knit team, the Odedim live together in the Oded Village and spend a number of days on an extended outdoor adventure. The Oded program is truly a hands-on training program, as the participants plan programs, lead services, create an Oded Project, teach activities and share responsibility for a cabin of campers. Boys attending this camp will have the park as their classroom as they learn the basics of backpacking and fishing. Campers hike through old growth forests, cool off in Ross Lake, fish for trout in mountain streams and develop leadership skills in workshops and in practice, each boy managing the team for a day.
