Campers explore more advanced blues and other harmonic progressions and scales, a variety of styles including fusion, Latin, Brazilian, mixed meters, as well as listening to the great Jazz artists both present and past. We recommend that prior to camp, musicians be able to play and read at a 10th grade level, know all major and minor scales, and have some experience improvising with their school jazz ensemble, or other related experience.
