  • Support Group for Parents of Children with Feeding Issues

    Is your child not transitioning onto different-textured foods? Are mealtimes a battle instead of an enjoyable experience? Does your child have reflux symptoms? Have feeding difficulties significantly impacted your child’s growth? Has a feeding tube been required? Is your child a “picky eater”? Seattle Children's Hospital hosts a support group for parents that includes free monthly group meetingsfacilitated by occupational therapist and family counselor.  These sessions give you the opportunity to share experiences and ideas with other parentsfor all types of feeding concerns, whether short or long-term. Come to one or as many sessions as you wish.  You’re not alone – get the support you deserve!     Mothers and Others meets at St. Madeleine Sophie Church in Bellevue. Kids play nursery/childcare rooms with loving caregivers while moms hear speakers on parenting and family education, do crafts, and provide support to each other.
