The ideology is that kids will self-regulate their intake of food. As a parent or caregiver, your job is to put healthy food on the table, and the child will eat what and how much his or her body needs to eat. Melanie Mitchell, M.A., doctoral internSeattle, WA 206-718-6170 | email Volunteers Needed For Doctoral Research on Childhood Sexual Abuse and Pregnancy and Labor: I am looking for female survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse who have given birth to a child in the past two years; to share their experience on how or if childhood sexual abuse influenced their pregnancy, delivery and labor. This would be one 2 hour (max) focus group with 6-10 other women with the same history or individual interview. A small compensation ($25.00) will be arranged the day of the group. The information gathered at this meeting will be used to complete the research phase of a doctoral dissertation, which intends to determine what type of support from psychologists might be helpful during this time in a woman survivor's life.
