Anyone for a dual? Join the Washington Fencing Academy for "fitness with as edge" and some fun! Campers will learn the Olympic style of competitive fencing including equipment, technique, learning to "bout", and a mini-tournament. Fencing is a fast, energetic sport that uses both mind and body. Boys and girls of any fitness level are welcome and no prior experience is required. Wear athletic shoes and sweatpants (no jeans). Bring a water bottle and snack.

Paint, pencil, and everything in between! Learn and develop foundational drawing and painting skills in a supportive, fun environment. We will work with acrylic and watercolor, oil and chalk pastel, charcoal, pencil, and clay from still life studies and our imagination! Come join us for the whole week for the most variety of projects. Bring a lunch, relax, and play games for the 1/2 hr break between sessions. Dress for mess! All materials provided.

It's cold outside and mid-winter break is just around the corner. Plan something fun for your kids to do. Register your crew for our volleyball camp where they can run around and burn off some energy. We’ll provide the fun drills and other activities, on and off the sand!

Under the direction of Sam Vance, campers develop their physical theater skills in this unique partnership between SPT and Teatro ZinZanni. Classic clowning, circus skills, mime, lazzi and character development--all these skills are great tools whether kids are beginners or seasoned actors. Students practice flexibility and specificity, deepen their craft, and have fun working in an ensemble. Plus, they’ll get a few master classes from world-famous professional circus performers. The week culminates in sharing for family and friends (11 a.m. Friday) full of laughing, gasping, and applauding.

Under the stage direction of SPT Artistic Associate Kelly Kitchens and the music direction of Seattle Opera Youth Program Director Barbara Lynne Jamison, campers dive into Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld. This camp continues SPT's successful and growing relationship with Seattle Opera. Technical Internships and Teaching Assistant positions available for grades 9-12; get service learning hours while having fun, giving back to your community, and gaining valuable life and leadership skills. Final sharing 2 p.m. Saturday.

Ignite your internalDrive and do something big this summer. At week-long day or overnight camps, iD Tech campers experience a variety of cutting-edge courses for beginner through advanced learners. Camps aim to strike the right balance between off-computer activities (creative games, sports, life skills, etc.) and essential technology education to foster STEM skill development (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Course topics include video game design, programming, apps, web design and more. Staff are tech-savvy undergrads, graduate students and professionals who are passionate about teaching game design, film, computer science and more. Travel to fantastic new worlds without ever leaving the Museum! We'll make believe with pirates, kings and queens, crazy creatures, fairies and space adventurers.

Moss Bay campers enjoy an outstanding summer youth recreation program with a terrific staff, quality adventures, excellent sports equipment, good times and great rowing, kayaking, sailing and paddle board instruction. Summer at Youth Theatre Northwest is a child’s opportunity to shine! Extensive summer camps ignite creativity as children sing, dance and perform through the summer. On stage or in the classroom, young artists explore the thrill of live performance and expand the boundaries of their creativity and imagination. Flexible schedule allows for registration for one week of classes or a full three-week series.

Hidden Valley Camp is a traditional overnight summer camp for boys and girls. Activities include horseback riding, sailing, swimming, arts and crafts, canoeing, drama, archery, sports/games, hiking and much more. Carefully selected and trained staff work with small living groups (1:7 ratio) to help provide a safe, caring, friendly camp community. Hidden Valley Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and is a safe, fun and rewarding experience providing lifelong friendships and memories to campers since 1947.
