Choose from Classic, Specialty, Horse and Leadership Camps: * Classic Camp -- Your traditional Girl Scout Camp experience, with a variety of activities like swimming, nature exploration, arts and crafts, and more. Some Classic sessions offer one horse experience, as well. * Horse Camp -- Girls ride most days or every day, depending on the camp, the session and the weather. Each session can accommodate beginning, intermediate and advanced riders. * Specialty Camp -- Opportunities for girls in grades 4-12 to focus on a specific skill (like archery), experience something new (like spending a night at Woodland Park Zoo) or go on an expedition (like a three day kayak trip). * Leadership Camp -- Not only our Counselor-in-Training and Wrangler-in-Training programs, but also opportunities for any girl who wants to explore her leadership style and learn about group dynamics. Every Girl Scout camp starts with a girl planning session, where campers and staff sit down to choose the activities the girls are most interested in doing from the wide variety of opportunities. Adolescence can be a turbulent and trying time and most of our young people are launched into it with little consciousness and even less preparation. Becoming a Young Woman was created to help girls cross the bridge between childhood and youth in love and beauty. It will help them reach young womanhood with a deeper sense of themselves, their own inner and outer beauty and the gifts they bring to the world, so that they may walk through their teen years with strength and self-confidence. This group of 10 middle school girls will spend a week at a moon lodge on Bainbridge Island, engaging in a Rite of Passage experience to honor and celebrate the conscious step into young womanhood with a sweat bath ceremony, an 8-hour solo in the woods, and a ritual of welcoming to womanhood. The challenges of navigation have confronted explorers from the beginning of time. From observing the stars, to reading compasses, to radio direction finders and GPS, campers will learn about the ways navigators are able to get from here to there without getting lost!

Come create magical memories with us this summer as we design art, interact with domestic farm animals, splash in the pool, play camp games and meet other fellow budding artists! Have fun creating two arts and crafts projects per day while exploring many mediums including: tempera, acrylic, watercolor, oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, ink and more. Explore collage, clay, printmaking, painting, drawing, decoupage, crafts and recycled art! Between art classes, have fun playing with the bunnies, cats, chickens, duck and goose, piggies and goats! And, in between camp games, there is always time to have fun on the trampoline or in the pool with friends. This week's theme: Under the Sea. Ahoy mermaids and pirates, get ready for fun in the sun and an interactive luau celebration!

Asia Pacific Language School offers elementary school children the opportunity to learn the Chinese Mandarin or Japanese language and culture while having fun. Our camp's morning program will focus on language study (conversational and writing skills) and cultural studies. In the afternoon, we will offer a variety of activities, including projects and arts to learn the Asian culture, going to parks for outdoor play, swimming, and field trips.

BCS Head Basketball Coach Douma and the BCS Varsity Team are coming together to give you a camp filled with action and training! Develop your fundamental basketball skills through a wide variety of drills, challenges and games. Can you dribble between your legs or behind your back? Build character and community while working hard!

In this inspiring program youth will learn: Yoga poses that increase physical strength and self confidence, breathing/meditation methods to help calm your body and mind, nutritional knowledge of how food affects mood, energy and vitality, methods for easy relaxation and stress management, the power of laughter and positive thinking, how to build strong, healthy relationships and creative expression through art and journaling. At this camp, each camper will have a whole chicken to de-bone. This chicken will be used to create a family meal that will be sent home at the end of the week. We will use every part of the chicken, making chicken sausage, wings for lunch, chicken breast parmesan for the take home dinner. The meal taken home on Friday will include: Chicken sausage bruschetta, local organic salad, Pappardelle pasta with tomato sauce, Chicken Parmesan, and fresh mini fruit pies.

Grab a rolling pin and put on an apron! We’re going to be sifting, whisking, kneading, mixing and measuring as we bake savory and sweet creations from scratch. You’ll learn skills from the basics of proper measuring and correct utensil use to cake creations, flay pie crusts, the basics of working with yeasted dough and much more!

This camp encompasses favorites that are typically inexpensive, uncomplicated, and easy to prepare. In addition to a brief sojourn into ethnic foods, this camp will focus on practical meals and homemade favorites. These dishes are particularly good for young people when they need to keep costs down. Your young chef will rub elbows with many professional chefs all week long becoming competent and proficient in the kitchen by actually practicing hands-on culinary skills with them for five hours a day! Supply fee includes personalized chef's jacket , professional-quality chef's knife, Blue Ribbon electronic cookbook, diploma, daily lunch, and a student's ticket for Thursday Night's Graduation Dinner. This is our Junior Camp for ages 7-13.

What if you could bring your favorite book to life?! With Book-It, you will dig into the juicy parts of a story - characters, setting, sequence, point of view - then take it apart and put it together again as a script you will act out on stage. You'll spend the week in teamwork with your peers exploring stories in a fun, physical way. Finally, your new "acting ensemble" will share your work in a final performance. Part of ECA's Arts Enrichment Week.

Join the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra this summer with music camps for all age groups and experience levels. In this camp, Session 1: Improve your skills on your Violin, Viola, Cello, or Bass in a beginning orchestra experience with other young musicians. Concert on July 13.

Camp Sprouting Spirits teaches your child how to regulate their emotions, be mindful, respond to stress, and changes in a healthy way. We make most of our snacks, like pizza, a smoothie bar, and “rainbow salad”, made with organic and locally grown produce whenever possible. We also have a yoga or music class every day plus an arts and crafts project. Our activities and games promote compassion, creativity, co-operation, teamwork, and patience. The entire camp is outdoors and we walk to the Rose Garden daily! We emphasize nature, yoga, dance, music, games, cooking, building fairy-houses. Every child has a blast at Sprouting Spirits!
