Fantastic Creations! Amazing works of art! Watch your child bring her/his imagination to life, working with our talented Artist in Residence to build their very own reed and paper sculptures.

Ropeworks’ jump rope camps are directed and run by World Jump Rope Champion and Cirque Du Soleil Artist Rene Bibaud. Boys and girls of all skill levels are invited to participate in our jump rope camps, which teach kids the following disciplines: single rope skills, partner routines, double Dutch, jumping long rope skills, group game choreography and more. Kids work together in a fun and rewarding environment of goal setting, best effort and team building. Play games, learn skills, develop new skills and stay fit in our fun-filled high energy program that really gets kids jumping! Camp culminates with a performance for friends and family.

Oh, Canada! There have been some incredible artists whose music has migrated down from cold Canadian lands. There must be something in the air up there! Students will spend the week learning tunes from Neil Young, Arcade Fire, The Band, and maybe even a little Bachman-Turner Overdrive. There is no shortage of Canadian talent! All Performance Camps run one week with a special performance at a real rock venue on Friday early evening. For Students 8-18, some experience required.

If your teen or preteen loves gardening and working with younger students, this is for them! Junior Counselors help set-up and clean-up garden activities, assist Children's Garden staff, lead small group activities and learn more about organic gardening. Week-long placements offer all the fun of summer camp with the opportunity to develop leadership skills. Jr. Counselors come 30 minutes before campers arrive and stay 30 minutes after campers depart to help set-up and clean-up (these times are built into the listing below). Leadership training and orientation will be provided.

Serevi Rugby summer camps give aspiring and experienced youth rugby players the opportunity to learn, develop and test their running, passing, catching and kicking abilities through several skill based games and activities, scrimmages and a culminating "rugby skills combine." All activities will be age and ability appropriate. With an emphasis on safety, fun and being active, campers will "learn through doing" with our Serevi "certified" coaching staff. Teens at Sizzleworks will explore the world of cuisine with Chef Pam with favorite ethnic foods from Italy, France, Mexico ... and USA! Topics include: Day 1: Pronto pasta, fave foods, foccaccia and fun! Day 2: That's a Wrap, Asian-style! Roll, wrap, dip, eat. Day 3: Breakfast at Tiffany's — No matter what time of day, breakfast can hit the spot! Day 4: Ole! Mexican Buffet Day. 5: Pizza al Fresco — Italians love to cook and eat outdoors — let's adopt that culture.

Campers have a fun-filled week of being involved with the many animals at our new Redmond facility, and taking part in hands-on learning about horses, grooming, English or western riding, horse shows or trail rides, and vet care. Activities can include arts and crafts, farming, field trips, games, hiking, pony rides, nature studies, outdoor living, team-building, and much more. Camp will be led by one staff person with a maximum of eight participants.

Les Chevaliers! French camp for any level of fluency. Spend two weeks on beautiful Canoe Island, located in the San Juans. Celebrate chivalry, knights, kings, and queens from les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde to the Middle Ages. Learn to fence, become Lancelot or Guinevere in theatrical productions, and practice archery and traditional arts and crafts. Use a trébuchet, and compete in the ring jousting course with your team. Work toward knighthood through acts of chivalry and end with a Medieval Feast.

China is a truly mouthwatering destination for any photographer. China’s cities are host to a colorful array of people and activity set against a back drop of sharp contrast where ancient streets and old traditions mix with modern skyscrapers and the latest technology. Despite the rapid pace of modernization throughout much of China, on this Global Family Travels tour, you will experience a land of ancient wonders as you walk along the famous Great Wall, explore remarkable archaeological sites, and visit remote villages where the old customs are still observed. This five night camp is focused on learning wilderness survival skills basics while practicing them daily at our school campus near Duvall. Campers will have opportunities to practice fire making, knife safety and carving, shelter construction and primitive cooking. They may choose to create their own fire kit, spoon, bowl or other similar craft to take home. Participants will also have the opportunity to sleep in shelters they have constructed from natural materials. They are sure to bring home amazing stories from this week with us! Survival Overnight Camp begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday and ends at 12 p.m. on Friday. Parents are encouraged to arrive at 11 a.m. on Friday. All youth overnight participants must return a signed Physician’s Medical Form upon registration. This is for the safety of our participants and our organization. Completion of this form will require a physical exam completed within one year of the course date, and an appointment with that physician for the form to be filled out. At this camp, each camper will have a whole chicken to de-bone. This chicken will be used to create a family meal that will be sent home at the end of the week. We will use every part of the chicken, making chicken sausage, wings for lunch, chicken breast parmesan for the take home dinner. The meal taken home on Friday will include: Chicken sausage bruschetta, local organic salad, Pappardelle pasta with tomato sauce, Chicken Parmesan, and fresh mini fruit pies.

By popular demand we are doing our very first Double Take: Doll and Girl Outfits. Who doesn't love matching outfits? In this class we will make this super cute tunic dress/tunic for both girl and doll. We will go over sewing basics as well as how to cut out and read a sewing pattern. A small materials list will be emailed before class.

Come join Seattle's Littlest Performers for a fun-filled summer of singing, dancing and drama! This session will be based around the funny and adorable sequel to The Gruffalo. A little Gruffalo ignores her father's warnings and tiptoes out into the snow in search of the Big Bad Mouse. Children will learn how to walk and express different mannerisms of the different animals in the story. This magical, musical adaptation will bring together theatre, music and some memorable characters to deliver laughs and scary fun for all! It will incorporate original electronic-inspired music.

This camp will explore that rich history going way back to the 1960’s with The Sonics, moving forward into the 90’s grunge scene with bands like Mudhoney, and introducing artists making new waves today! This week we’ll put you in the cockpit of the Blackbird. The Museum is home to the only MD-21 left in the world and you can learn the secrets of a supersonic spy. Learn how to crack codes and send secret messages to help solve the mystery of the missing Museum moon rocks.
