At Cheer Camp with Eastside Dream Elite, learn to be a cheerleader! This cheer camp is designed for those who want to cheer, jump, and dance. It’s a fun five-day camp where participants will learn to perform cheers and a dance routine. All cheerleaders will receive a camp gift. Please bring a snack and a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.

SDS Drum Camp is open to drummers of all skill levels who want beat themselves into a fury of rhythmic bliss and group consciousness! Students will learn the fundamentals of technique and time while exploring the magic of self-expression through layers of rhythmic creation and improvisation. Finally, time to wear something other than a parka! To get our summer season jumping we have a brand new kids' summer camp dedicated to, well, summer! In this class the kids will learning basic sewing techniques while finishing a super cute wrap skirt and board shorts to wear at the beach. For the boys we will make two board shorts with pockets. A small materials list will be emailed out prior to class.

It will incorporate rock and roll music, while introducing some not-so-typical superheroes. Superheroes, evil villains, support powers, saving the world and more. In this action-packed rocking musical students will get the chance to help save the planet....or destroy it. Can the heroes take on the villains?

Michelle Delano is an artist and a professor, and joins us from Virginia where she heads the Art department at Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary. Michelle has a special gift for helping kids of all ages access and explore their inner world through art. Having received the Governor’s Outstanding Faculty Award, Michelle's focus on teaching art and creativity has extended into variety of settings, including schools and community organizations.

What does the inside of an ant hill look like? How do termites make towers? Design different types of nests for birds or mythical creatures. While exploring ideas related to materials and construction; weaving, building with papier- mache and more.

We have partnered with Chess4Life in Bellevue to offer campers a full day camp option. Chess4Life instructors make the game come to life through exciting lessons on strategy, tactics, and many other topics that open the world of chess to students. Play chess in the morning and learn to fence in the afternoon. Transportation to and from Chess4Life and RCFC is provided by Chess4Life. Level 1 fencing is for complete beginners to the sport of fencing. We will teach footwork, basic blade skills, and simple bouting techniques.

Can robots think? How do they know what to do? Campers this week will begin to answer these questions as they explore the world of robotics! Campers will spend the week learning to build and program robots to perform simple tasks using Lego kits and BeeBots.

Ropeworks’ jump rope camps are directed and run by World Jump Rope Champion and Cirque Du Soleil Artist Rene Bibaud. Boys and girls of all skill levels are invited to participate in our jump rope camps, which teach kids the following disciplines: single rope skills, partner routines, double Dutch, jumping long rope skills, group game choreography and more. Kids work together in a fun and rewarding environment of goal setting, best effort and team building. SAM Campers will go back in time exploring art from the Pacific Northwest and across many continents! Time capsules, comics, futuristic portraits and dress-up are just part of the adventure! Serevi Rugby summer camps give aspiring and experienced youth rugby players the opportunity to learn, develop and test their running, passing, catching and kicking abilities through several skill based games and activities, scrimmages and a culminating "rugby skills combine." At Mandarin Immersion Camp for K-2nd and 3rd-5th grades, we help campers build language and cultural competency while having lots of summer fun! Our camp leaders are great at making kids excited about language, culture and the world – and they happen to be native-speaking, experienced language teachers, too. Campers are grouped by language experience and ability where appropriate. Dragons, magic, and martial arts! Join us for a Mandarin language immersion adventure. We’ll travel across the ocean and learn about some magical characters from China. Campers will explore Chinese myths, festivals, and foods. We will tell stories about magical dragons, make boats for the Dragon Boat Festival and cook delicious dumplings!

Sponge presents: Summer Passport to Latin America – Spanish Immersion Camp for K-2 grade and 3-5th grade. Sponge helps campers build language and cultural competency while having lots of summer fun! Hit the trail with your favorite Tashunka horse. Trail Camp brings participants to regional parks to enjoy trail riding. Participants have a unique week of exploring, being outdoors, and being involved in hands on learning about horses, grooming, English or western riding, trail rides, and vet care. Activities include arts and crafts, games, hiking, nature studies, outdoor living, team-building, and much more. This session will be led by one staff person with a maximum of eight participants.

At our new Art of Nature Day Camp, participants will dive into a hands-on relationship with the world around them, working with materials and inspiration from nature to produce a varied items of creative expression! During this week of camp, your child will create some art to bring home as well as having the opportunity to experiment with site-specific sculpture and land art. This camp is ideal for those who have previously participated in our Nature Adventure Day Camps, but there are no prerequisites! Campers will work on a variety of art projects throughout the week; some projects will utilize materials from nature in the creation of art, such as natural plant dyes and tree-bark boxes, while other projects such as drawing or writing will be opportunities for expression of what participants see and experience in nature. This camp will include a variety of creative projects to choose from, activities designed to stimulate inspiration and basic instruction on some artistic principles, as well as new games and stories (along with some old favorites). Neither your standard art camp, nor the nature camp that you have done before – this is not merely a combination of the two, but a whole new experience that will bring out the beauty of both!

This camp focuses on using our senses to the fullest, as did the ancient “scouts” of many cultures who were able to travel for days without supplies. We will gain greater knowledge of edible plants as food and medicine; tracking as a means of gathering details of animals’ lives without ever seeing them; and “bird language” to allow us to move silently and become more aware of predators.

Youth Venture Summer Camp will bring out the inner entrepreneur in your young person. During the week long camp, students learn about leadership, entrepreneurship and social justice issues, and then create their unique business approach to solve their chosen issue. Youth Venture will provide seed funding to the top teams up to $1000. Experienced staff support participants in creating a business plan, presenting a 5 minute culminating pitch, leadership skills and public speaking skills. Young people have the opportunity to team up with other participants to create a venture.

Puppet Palooza is a week of hands on exploration of a variety of puppet styles (sock, rod, hand/rod and shadow). Students will learn movement, focus, breath, personality and more. Recycled materials and found objects will become Junk Puppet characters. Students will create stories, rehearse, and perform. (Campers younger than age 7 may attend with an adult.)

Do you know a fashionista designer full of ideas and looking for a place to use them? Send them to Made to learn the fundamentals of fashion design, color, sewing techniques, and fashion illustration. We will work with the designers to create a clothing line based on a central theme of their preference, and then they will sew one of their designs to take home. This is a 3 day camp.

Ekone Ranch offers a one-of-a-kind camp program on 1060 acres of canyonlands, forests and meadows near the Columbia Gorge. Our residential, co-ed camp program features small groups of no more than 20 children per session and a 6:1 camper/staff ratio or better. Horse camp sessions emphasize the special relationship between children and horses. Campers spend many hours each day with our wonderful horses, grooming, learning groundwork, practicing in the arena, and going on long trail rides through spectacular country. We ride bareback and western. When not with the horses, campers are engaged in a variety of art projects, nature explorations, swimming, ranch activities and chores. This backpacking program is a fun, exciting and significant first step on the Hero(ine)'s Journey. Under the guidance and encouragement of our experienced mentors, participants learn to cultivate a variety of interpersonal and wilderness skills in a challenging, yet supportive environment. Leadership, responsibility, communication --- these are just some of the skills that are called forth and developed to bring a sense of community into practical tasks, in the sharing circles around the fire, and in the fun and joy of playing together. This camp adds to the skills and experience of our Survival Overnight Camp, and offers an in-depth first experience for older teens who have not participated in programs with us previously. We offer in this camp many opportunities to practice safe knife use, fire-making, primitive cooking, bullfrog hunting, basket-making and a variety of other skills, taking all of them to an advanced level that is appropriate to participants' age and experience. The village feel of this camp is notable, and participants of this camp connect with each other deeply through profound shared experience. Of the five nights, three will be spent in a natural shelter “village” created by the participants, where all will prepare food together and sleep in individual or group shelters. The Advanced Survival Overnight is a camp on our school campus near Duvall for participants who are socially mature and seriously interested in expanding their knowledge and skills of wilderness survival and community building. We will not only be surviving, but thriving together as we experience the gifts that each person brings to community, and that the natural world offers to us all. Overnight Camp begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday and ends at 12 p.m. on Friday. Parents are encouraged to arrive at 11 a.m. on Friday. All youth overnight participants must return a signed Physician’s Medical Form by June 1. This is for the safety of our participants and our organization. This five night camp is focused on learning wilderness survival skills basics while practicing them daily at our school campus near Duvall. Campers will have opportunities to practice fire making, knife safety and carving, shelter construction and primitive cooking. They may choose to create their own fire kit, spoon, bowl or other similar craft to take home. Participants will also have the opportunity to sleep in shelters they have constructed from natural materials. They are sure to bring home amazing stories from this week with us! At this camp, each camper will have a whole chicken to de-bone. This chicken will be used to create a family meal that will be sent home at the end of the week. We will use every part of the chicken, making chicken sausage, wings for lunch, chicken breast parmesan for the take home dinner. The meal taken home on Friday will include: Chicken sausage bruschetta, local organic salad, Pappardelle pasta with tomato sauce, Chicken Parmesan, and fresh mini fruit pies.

This camp encompasses favorites that are typically inexpensive, uncomplicated, and easy to prepare. In addition to a brief sojourn into ethnic foods, this camp will focus on practical meals and homemade favorites. These dishes are particularly good for young people when they need to keep costs down. Your young chef will rub elbows with many professional chefs all week long becoming competent and proficient in the kitchen by actually practicing hands-on culinary skills with them for five hours a day! At the BYSO Summer Music Institute you will work with master specialists in chamber ensembles and full orchestra. Spend the week attending master classes and perform in a final concert. You will also participate in workshops specializing in rhythm, conducting, handbells, or sightreading.

Camp Sparkle is for any child or teen who is impacted by cancer. The camper may have a cancer diagnosis themselves, have a parent or sibling with a cancer diagnosis, or have lost a loved one to cancer. We offer emotional support and fun field trips each day. Camp TechWise offers instruction in a variety of areas, including:  Photography / Video (short-film): Students will research, script, storyboard, shoot and edit a complete video short film. Game Creation: Students use game authoring software to build a multi-level computer game. Music / Sound / Video Editing: combine video with sound editing (what is called Multi-Track production) and mix in a heavy dose of singing. Programming: Intro to Programming. It’s not easy and you will be learning… but it is cool and the results are totally worth it! Digital Photography Workshop: Students select, shoot, manipulate, and present a portfolio & gallery. For dancers with som experience, this program provides four weeks of comprehensive, pre-professional training in multiple dance styles with the emphasis on classical ballet based on Vaganova method from Russian Ballet Academy, St. Petersburg, Russia. Two-week & One-week sessions are also available ($495-$795). Curriculum includes: Ballet, Pointe, Men's Class, Pas De Deux/Contemporary, Variations, Character, Jazz/Theatre Dance, Modern, Choreography, Mime, Mat/Stretch, History of Dance and Nutrition/Injury Prevention.  The end of each session culminates with informal performance for family and friends. You’ve been hired as one of the new employees of the Brightwater Nature Detectives Agency. Your mission is to work each day with your fellow detectives to solve the nature mystery posed to you by your instructor through experiments, games, exploration, and art. By the end of the week – if you’ve done the job well – you and your team will be officially certified Sr. Nature Detectives, ready to tackle all of the mysteries of the world around us. Along the way you’ll no doubt have an amazing time and make new friends, whether they’re human, frog, snake, or beaver.

Want to play with dyeing fabric, but don’t want to get in trouble for “re-coloring” your kitchen or bathroom sinks in the process? Well, we have a dye room right here at Made that’s ready and waiting for you! Over the two-day Camp, we will teach you a multitude of dyeing techniques. At the end of Camp, you will have tons of beautifully dyed fabric to use at home in your sewing experiments.

This exciting and musically stimulating camp is for musicians at all levels! Students learn to create, record, and perform songs utilizing Clavinova digital pianos and music software including Garage Band. Campers perform in an end-of-camp concert and receive a CD and DVD of student created songs and music videos. Located at Island Park Elementary School.

Professional game designer Michael Adams has over 20 games on the market with publishers including Cranium, Mattel, Hasbro, and Gamewright. Students will learn to think like an inventor while exploring and playing many genres of games including, dice, deck building, targeting, social, and strategy. Assisted by Michael's guidance and expertise, each child will invent, prototype, play-test, and refine at least one game during the week. Parents will be invited Friday afternoon to a game party to show off all the inventions.
