At Cheer Camp with Eastside Dream Elite, learn to be a cheerleader! This cheer camp is designed for those who want to cheer, jump, and dance. It’s a fun five-day camp where participants will learn to perform cheers and a dance routine. All cheerleaders will receive a camp gift. Please bring a snack and a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.

SDS Drum Camp is open to drummers of all skill levels who want beat themselves into a fury of rhythmic bliss and group consciousness! Students will learn the fundamentals of technique and time while exploring the magic of self-expression through layers of rhythmic creation and improvisation. The camp will culminate in an ensemble performance in the L.A.B. at 1 p.m. on Friday. Dancing is encouraged!

Dabble into dance and nurture your inner artist! This four-day camp includes a daily ballet class plus one enrichment class (such as modern, stretching/conditioning, character and variations). Participants also have a one-hour art class each day that relates to their studio work.

From the first aviators to modern astronauts, people have been fascinated by the view from above. This week campers will examine the various ways in which the Earth is observed from on high. From spy planes to drones to satellites; the evolution of aerial reconnaissance will be explored.

Nature is full of wonderful opportunities to inspire art. We’ll create sculptures, drawings, poetry, and music to help you learn about the wide world outside your home. Brightwater is full of wildlife like frogs, snakes, coyotes, deer, and eagles to inspire the art we create and fuel our explorations. We’ll also build nature journals that we’ll use all week to keep track of our sketches and notes as we develop our naturalist skills. This camp is perfect for campers who love art and spending time outdoors.

This half-day camp for little ones aims to be a perfect fit for parents and campers. Each week has a creative and educational theme that includes activities, games, arts, crafts, songs and more! Campers must be potty trained.

Finally, time to wear something other than a parka! To get our summer season jumping we have a brand new kids' summer camp dedicated to, well, summer! In this class the kids will learning basic sewing techniques while finishing a super cute wrap skirt and board shorts to wear at the beach. For the boys we will make two board shorts with pockets. A small materials list will be emailed out prior to class.

Come join Seattle's Littlest Performers for a fun-filled summer of singing, dancing and drama! This original SLP script is perfect for the future rock star. It will incorporate rock and roll music, while introducing some not-so-typical superheroes. Superheroes, evil villains, support powers, saving the world and more. In this action-packed rocking musical students will get the chance to help save the planet....or destroy it. Can the heroes take on the villains?

Michelle Delano is an artist and a professor, and joins us from Virginia where she heads the Art department at Richard Bland College of the College of William and Mary. Michelle has a special gift for helping kids of all ages access and explore their inner world through art. Having received the Governor’s Outstanding Faculty Award, Michelle's focus on teaching art and creativity has extended into variety of settings, including schools and community organizations.

What does the inside of an ant hill look like? How do termites make towers? Design different types of nests for birds or mythical creatures. While exploring ideas related to materials and construction; weaving, building with papier- mache and more.

We have partnered with Chess4Life in Bellevue to offer campers a full day camp option. Chess4Life instructors make the game come to life through exciting lessons on strategy, tactics, and many other topics that open the world of chess to students. Play chess in the morning and learn to fence in the afternoon. Transportation to and from Chess4Life and RCFC is provided by Chess4Life. Level 1 fencing is for complete beginners to the sport of fencing. We will teach footwork, basic blade skills, and simple bouting techniques.

Our Level 1 (beginning) camps are designed for the complete beginner. We provide all the required fencing equipment. Our USFCA certified instructors start at the very beginning with the on guard position and basic footwork. We teach basic offensive and defensive moves, the basic rules of the game of foil fencing, and end with an informal tournament on Friday. Kids' classes play lots of fencing-related games. Junior classes are a little more focused on technique, tactics, and mechanics. Our goal in both camps is to have fun while learning the basics of modern Olympic sports fencing.
