Experienced instructors use video, activities and hands-on labs to teach the techniques associated with Crime Scene Investigation, forensic anthropology, fingerprint analysis, hair analysis, serology and DNA fingerprinting. Scientific data, coupled with critical thinking skills (and a few suspect interrogations) are used to solve the crime.

Join GreenStage in this special opportunity for enrichment and fun this summer. In our one week camps, kids will rehearse and perform an abbreviated version of one of Shakespeare’s plays. Everyone gets a role! Audition and resume tips will be covered and head shots (actor photos) will be taken by a professional photographer. Friday rehearsal goes until 3 pm with the performance starting at 3 pm sharp. Costumes are provided. All you need to provide is a sack lunch and drink daily. Camps are directed by GreenStage teaching staff.

Professional jazz musicians and educators will coach the groups. Campers can register individually or as a pre-formed combo. Each student will get personal attention on their instrument as well as feedback on what their role is with a jazz combo. There will be sessions on improvisation for students interested in soloing. Rhythm section players will be able to explore voicings, bass lines and different types of time feels associated with jazz. There will be listening examples as well as performances by faculty to demonstrate the key points discussed for each ensemble. This camp will be “hands on.” We work in small groups so each student can build the confidence needed to play jazz. Each combo will record a Youtube video performance at the end of the week.
