This half-day camp for little ones aims to be a perfect fit for parents and campers. Each week has a creative and educational theme that includes activities, games, arts, crafts, songs and more! Campers must be potty trained.

CMA’s Jazz Camp offers music students the opportunity to spend a week playing with a jazz combo. Professional jazz musicians and educators will coach the groups. Campers can register individually or as a pre-formed combo. Each student will get personal attention on their instrument as well as feedback on what their role is with a jazz combo. There will be sessions on improvisation for students interested in soloing. Rhythm section players will be able to explore voicings, bass lines and different types of time feels associated with jazz. There will be listening examples as well as performances by faculty to demonstrate the key points discussed for each ensemble. This camp will be “hands on.” We work in small groups so each student can build the confidence needed to play jazz. Each combo will record a Youtube video performance at the end of the week. After visiting the sights of New Delhi and a tour of the renowned Taj Mahal in Agra, our tour departs for Leh, the capital of Ladakh in the Himalayas. After acclimatizing and enjoying the Tibetan handicraft markets in Leh at the crossroads of ancient trading routes, your family will be transported to Stok, a quaint village nestled in the Himalayan foothills. For the next six days in Stok, you will have the opportunity to live and work with your Ladakhi host family and to participate in a community service project with the Amale Society, a group of dedicated women from the village of Stok who initiate and implement social, cultural and environmental events. During the home-stay part of our tour, you and your family will become immersed in the Ladakhi communal culture and gain a deep understanding of the Buddhist culture and traditions of this stunning region. Seattle may have a lot of rain, but we also have lots of lakes and beaches to play in during the summer. In this two day series kids will make beach necessities, a swimsuit coverup and floppy beach hat. They will learn the basics of sewing on the machine as well as oodles of other sewing techniques. A small materials list will be emailed before class.

This exciting and musically stimulating camp is for musicians at all levels! Students learn to create, record, and perform songs utilizing Clavinova digital pianos and music software including Garage Band. Campers perform in an end-of-camp concert and receive a CD and DVD of student created songs and music videos. Located at Island Park Elementary School.

Come join Seattle's Littlest Performers for a fun-filled summer of singing, dancing and drama! Renowned for his whimsically profound rhymes and outrageous characters, Dr. Seuss’ genius will transcend to the stage during this week-long session. Based on the works of some of his most famous tales and characters from his books will be brought to life, while simultaneously weaving in the music of Elvis. Come join in the fun.

Kids need no experience to sign up and learn partner-movement, juggling, acrobatic movement, tumbling and more! The week of learning and play will culminate with a performance sure to awe and amaze.

Explore the versatility of printmaking using rubber, cardboard and foam just to name a few! Students will learn about design, mixing colors and a variety of ways to create dynamic prints. Working from artists examples to develop a unique visual style, students will create their own collection of images.

The Level 2 camp takes up directly where the Level 1 camp ended. We will add technical and tactical skills with paired drills and group exercises. We will discuss the tactical implications of priority in foil and how that relates to reffing a bout, and we will do more practice bouting with student referees.

The Level 2 camp is a continuation of the Level 1 curriculum. It assumes the student has had our one week introductory class. We will continue to add both technical and tactical skills, and will spend a little more time bouting with the electrical scoring apparatus.

Ropeworks’ jump rope camps are directed and run by World Jump Rope Champion and Cirque Du Soleil Artist Rene Bibaud. Boys and girls of all skill levels are invited to participate in our jump rope camps, which teach kids the following disciplines: single rope skills, partner routines, double Dutch, jumping long rope skills, group game choreography and more. Kids work together in a fun and rewarding environment of goal setting, best effort and team building. Play games, learn skills, develop new skills and stay fit in our fun-filled high energy program that really gets kids jumping! Camp culminates with a performance for friends and family.

So many great artists have emerged in the past decade. Black Keys, The Shins, The White Stripes. This camp is a local student favorite and will be filled with material from the next generation. All Performance Camps run one week with a special performance at a real rock venue on Friday early evening. For students 8-18, some experience required.

We’ll play theater games, build original characters, explore movement and scene work and learn what it takes to create an original performance all in the beautiful outdoors! Camp is led by Wedgwood Drama Studio’s brother and sister team Michael and Christi Cruz who have over 15 years experience performing on the stage, screen and teaching in the classroom. Do you know a fashionista designer full of ideas and looking for a place to use them? Send them to Made to learn the fundamentals of fashion design, color, sewing techniques, and fashion illustration. We will work with the designers to create a clothing line based on a central theme of their preference, and then they will sew one of their designs to take home. This is a 3 day camp.

Ekone Ranch offers a one-of-a-kind camp program on 1060 acres of canyonlands, forests and meadows near the Columbia Gorge. Our residential, co-ed camp program features small groups of no more than 20 children per session and a 6:1 camper/staff ratio or better. Horse camp sessions emphasize the special relationship between children and horses. Campers spend many hours each day with our wonderful horses, grooming, learning groundwork, practicing in the arena, and going on long trail rides through spectacular country. We ride bareback and western. When not with the horses, campers are engaged in a variety of art projects, nature explorations, swimming, ranch activities and chores. Our garden-fresh, from-scratch food is a highlight of the camp experience (many a camper has learned to love their vegetables in the Yummy Tummy Cafe). This is one of our non-horse focused camps. Young women are invited  to spend a week on a journey of self-discovery in nature. Explore your inner wisdom, passions and creativity through daily practices of meditation, journaling, art, movement, drumming, and horse play. This life-changing week will include solo time for reflection, a ceremonial  sweat, sharing in group council and a ceremony welcoming you into womanhood. We will learn how plants and animals are our allies as we walk the land, discover  our spirit animals and dance the night away!

This one-week trip is designed for high school students to take a moment to pause and listen, check in with themselves, and return with renewed purpose and inspiration for their life paths. This journey is a safe place to learn about dealing with new challenges that arise for teens. It encourages the process of maturation among a community of mentors and peers who know how to be supportive and honest. Participants learn skills in wilderness living and in navigating their own inner journey.

This five-night camp is devoted to developing the keen awareness demonstrated by the ancient ”scouts” of many cultures. These were the people who knew the landscape and everything that was happening on it in order to keep their people safe and healthy in the face of the challenges of living from the land. Often remaining invisible, their abilities seemed like magic. Through adventures with camouflage, bird language (the alarm system of the forest), wildlife and human tracking, stealthy movement, and wild edible plants, we begin to enter the world of the scout. Participants in this camp at our school campus near Duvall will likely never see nature the same way again! Scout Overnight Camp begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday and ends at 12 p.m. on Friday. Parents are encouraged to arrive at 11 a.m. on Friday All youth overnight participants must return a signed Physician’s Medical Form by June 1. This is for the safety of our participants and our organization. Completion of this form will require a physical exam completed within one year of the course date, and an appointment with that physician for the form to be filled out. In this inspiring program youth will learn: Yoga poses that increase physical strength and self confidence, breathing/meditation methods to help calm your body and mind, nutritional knowledge of how food affects mood, energy and vitality, methods for easy relaxation and stress management, the power of laughter and positive thinking, how to build strong, healthy relationships and creative expression through art and journaling. During this camp we will focus on specific regions of the world, Europe, China, The Middle East and South America. We will learn about the food and culture of these regions and learn different cooking methods and tools that are used in these areas. On one day all cooking will be done in Woks and we will attempt to use chopsticks all day, to cook and eat! Campers will take home a six course “small plates” sampler from around the world on Friday.
