Each camper will work directly with the Ballard High School coaching staff and players. Campers should bring a sack lunch and water bottle. Coach Sara Wetstone's Bio: A three-sport athlete in high school, Coach Wetstone earned twelve letters (soccer, softball and basketball) at Lakeside School in Seattle. Point guard and co-captain in basketball, her team went 96-1 in her last three seasons, winning two State titles, ranked #12 in the nation by USA Today and named Team of the Century by The Seattle Times. She was named Lakeside Female Athlete of the Year at graduation (’94) and was the Student Body President. Coach Wetstone earned her BA in Philosophy from Princeton University, where she was a two year co-captain on the women's basketball team. Post-graduation, she played and coached professionally in Denmark. On her return to Seattle to complete a Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science, she coached the Seattle Community College women's basketball team and was named NWAACC North Division’s Coach of the Year in her first season. She enters her third season as Head Coach of the Girls Basketball program at Ballard High School.

We will learn about the food and culture of these regions and learn different cooking methods and tools that are used in these areas. On one day all cooking will be done in Woks and we will attempt to use chopsticks all day, to cook and eat! Campers will take home a six course “small plates” sampler from around the world on Friday.

Game Creation: Students use game authoring software to build a multi-level computer game. Music / Sound / Video Editing: combine video with sound editing (what is called Multi-Track production) and mix in a heavy dose of singing. Programming: Intro to Programming. It’s not easy and you will be learning… but it is cool and the results are totally worth it! Digital Photography Workshop: Students select, shoot, manipulate, and present a portfolio & gallery. Join GreenStage in this special opportunity for enrichment and fun this summer. In our one week camps, kids will rehearse and perform an abbreviated version of one of Shakespeare’s plays. Everyone gets a role! Audition and resume tips will be covered and head shots (actor photos) will be taken by a professional photographer. Friday rehearsal goes until 3 pm with the performance starting at 3 pm sharp. Costumes are provided. All you need to provide is a sack lunch and drink daily.
