Come join us at View Ridge Playfield for Wedgwood Drama Studio’s theater summer camp. We’ll play theater games, build original characters, explore movement and scene work and learn what it takes to create an original performance all in the beautiful outdoors! Camp is led by Wedgwood Drama Studio’s brother and sister team Michael and Christi Cruz who have over 15 years experience performing on the stage, screen and teaching in the classroom.  Camp fills at 16 campers on a first come, first served basis. Zeno, a non-profit organization, is offering its math camp adventures this summer that are super fun and help to combat that dreaded summer learning loss. Campers will use architecture to design and build their own city; build geometric Pirate Hats and learning to read treasure maps; play Blink while Measuring Monkeys with their Supermind; and learn money systems to barter like the Romans, Grecians, and Mayans. It's time to get out of the house and play outside! In this 3-day camp series kids will make a pair of capris, a t-shirt and a drawstring bag. Kids will learn the basics of sewing knitwear, pattern reading and other fundamental sewing techniques. Please note: This class is for kids who already have a firm understanding of the sewing machine and have experience with making clothing. A materials list will be emailed to you closer to the class date.

Join us for an exciting 2-day camp, filled with fun and delicious activities! Day 1: snack walk in our organic p-patch plot, begin the harvest, make flower bouquets and chef's hats, and set up our "banquet room". Day 2: finish the harvest, plant crops for the next camp, and prepare a delicious lunch and dessert using fresh, seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruits. Le Monde Francophone! French camp for any level of fluency. Spend two weeks on beautiful Canoe Island, located in the San Juans. Polynesia, Africa, the Caribbean, North America, and Asia: explore other countries where French is spoken. Represent your chosen francophone country with your team as you compete in the Jeux de la Francophonie in your favorite sport and present your region in a World’s Fair of native foods, crafts, clothing, and games. Listen to Cajun music, try Vietnamese food, and paint your face like those in Vanuatu. This is the perfect session for those wanting more of an immersion experience.

In this inspiring program youth will learn: Yoga poses that increase physical strength and self confidence, breathing/meditation methods to help calm your body and mind, nutritional knowledge of how food affects mood, energy and vitality, methods for easy relaxation and stress management, the power of laughter and positive thinking, how to build strong, healthy relationships and creative expression through art and journaling. Students that have attended a Blue Ribbon summer camp, or the equivalent, can join us for an advanced course on classic French cooking. Traditional French techniques are considered to be one of the world's most refined and elegant culinary styles. It is renowned for both its classical ("haute cuisine") and provincial styles. Many of the world's greatest chefs are or were masters of French cuisine. Additionally, French cooking techniques have been a major influence on virtually all Western cuisines, and almost all culinary schools use French cuisine as the basis for all other forms of Western cooking. Supply fee includes: an advanced cookbook, knife case, knife sharpener, diploma, daily gourmet lunch and daily culinary ingredients.

This camp encompasses favorites that are typically inexpensive, uncomplicated, and easy to prepare. In addition to a brief sojourn into ethnic foods, this camp will focus on practical meals and homemade favorites. These dishes are particularly good for young people when they need to keep costs down. Your young chef will rub elbows with many professional chefs all week long becoming competent and proficient in the kitchen by actually practicing hands-on culinary skills with them for five hours a day! Supply fee includes personalized chef's jacket , professional-quality chef's knife, Blue Ribbon electronic cookbook, diploma, daily lunch, and a student's ticket for Thursday Night's Graduation Dinner. This is our Junior Camp for ages 7-13.
