This half-day camp for little ones aims to be a perfect fit for parents and campers. Each week has a creative and educational theme that includes activities, games, arts, crafts, songs and more! Campers must be potty trained.

This session's theme: Princess Camp.

CMA’s Jazz Camp offers music students the opportunity to spend a week playing with a jazz combo. Professional jazz musicians and educators will coach the groups. Campers can register individually or as a pre-formed combo. Each student will get personal attention on their instrument as well as feedback on what their role is with a jazz combo. There will be sessions on improvisation for students interested in soloing. Rhythm section players will be able to explore voicings, bass lines and different types of time feels associated with jazz. There will be listening examples as well as performances by faculty to demonstrate the key points discussed for each ensemble. This camp will be “hands on.” We work in small groups so each student can build the confidence needed to play jazz. Each combo will record a Youtube video performance at the end of the week. After visiting the sights of New Delhi and a tour of the renowned Taj Mahal in Agra, our tour departs for Leh, the capital of Ladakh in the Himalayas. After acclimatizing and enjoying the Tibetan handicraft markets in Leh at the crossroads of ancient trading routes, your family will be transported to Stok, a quaint village nestled in the Himalayan foothills. For the next six days in Stok, you will have the opportunity to live and work with your Ladakhi host family and to participate in a community service project with the Amale Society, a group of dedicated women from the village of Stok who initiate and implement social, cultural and environmental events. During the home-stay part of our tour, you and your family will become immersed in the Ladakhi communal culture and gain a deep understanding of the Buddhist culture and traditions of this stunning region. Summer time is fun time! Have an outstanding time developing your sports skills at a fun filled camp with knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff. Little Champs is focused on the FUNdamentals that are age appropriate and show an emphasis on health and sportsmanship. Campers wil be grouped by age.

Seattle may have a lot of rain, but we also have lots of lakes and beaches to play in during the summer. In this two day series kids will make beach necessities, a swimsuit coverup and floppy beach hat. They will learn the basics of sewing on the machine as well as oodles of other sewing techniques. A small materials list will be emailed before class.

This exciting and musically stimulating camp is for musicians at all levels! Students learn to create, record, and perform songs utilizing Clavinova digital pianos and music software including Garage Band. Campers perform in an end-of-camp concert and receive a CD and DVD of student created songs and music videos. Located at Island Park Elementary School.

Come join Seattle's Littlest Performers for a fun-filled summer of singing, dancing and drama! Renowned for his whimsically profound rhymes and outrageous characters, Dr. Seuss’ genius will transcend to the stage during this week-long session. Based on the works of some of his most famous tales and characters from his books will be brought to life, while simultaneously weaving in the music of Elvis. Come join in the fun.

Kids need no experience to sign up and learn partner-movement, juggling, acrobatic movement, tumbling and more! The week of learning and play will culminate with a performance sure to awe and amaze.

Explore the versatility of printmaking using rubber, cardboard and foam just to name a few! Students will learn about design, mixing colors and a variety of ways to create dynamic prints. Working from artists examples to develop a unique visual style, students will create their own collection of images.

The Level 2 camp takes up directly where the Level 1 camp ended. We will add technical and tactical skills with paired drills and group exercises. We will discuss the tactical implications of priority in foil and how that relates to reffing a bout, and we will do more practice bouting with student referees.

The Level 2 camp is a continuation of the Level 1 curriculum. It assumes the student has had our one week introductory class. We will continue to add both technical and tactical skills, and will spend a little more time bouting with the electrical scoring apparatus.

Ropeworks’ jump rope camps are directed and run by World Jump Rope Champion and Cirque Du Soleil Artist Rene Bibaud. Boys and girls of all skill levels are invited to participate in our jump rope camps, which teach kids the following disciplines: single rope skills, partner routines, double Dutch, jumping long rope skills, group game choreography and more. Kids work together in a fun and rewarding environment of goal setting, best effort and team building. Play games, learn skills, develop new skills and stay fit in our fun-filled high energy program that really gets kids jumping! Camp culminates with a performance for friends and family.

So many great artists have emerged in the past decade. Black Keys, The Shins, The White Stripes. This camp is a local student favorite and will be filled with material from the next generation. All Performance Camps run one week with a special performance at a real rock venue on Friday early evening. For students 8-18, some experience required.

Come join us for Wedgwood Drama Studio’s theater summer camp. We’ll play theater games, build original characters, explore movement and scene work and learn what it takes to create an original performance all in the beautiful outdoors! Camp is led by Wedgwood Drama Studio’s brother and sister team Michael and Christi Cruz who have over 15 years experience performing on the stage, screen and teaching in the classroom. Theater in the Park performance for families is August 3rd at 3 pm. Camp fills at 16 on a first come, first served basis. Hope you can join us!

Wilderness Awareness School has partnered together with Oxbow Farm, and we are serving up something very special this summer! During this week of daily adventures your child will explore the edge where Farm and Forest meet. In addition to Wilderness Awareness School’s unique day camp experience learning about plants, mammals, tracking, birds and survival skills…we’re down on the farm! Kids will make their own sun tea, fresh fruit popsicles, and farm burritos. They will dig roots and pick fruits, save, sow, and snack on seeds. On the final day, we will harvest produce for an end-of-week Happy Camper Farmers Market! Each day we enjoy storytelling under the Maple Tree, as well as songs, crafts, and play surrounding food, farm and forest life. Camp is held at Oxbow Farm in the Snoqualmie Valley (about 15 minutes from Redmond). It is on a 120-acre property, with 20 acres of certified organic vegetables, berries and tree fruit in cultivation for the fresh market. This full-day experience for the younger child is appropriate for those who are ready to not only be away from home, but also active and engaged for this length of time! (We also have two half-day Wild Sprouts camps for ages 4-6.)
