During this camp we will focus on specific regions of the world, Europe, China, The Middle East and South America. We will learn about the food and culture of these regions and learn different cooking methods and tools that are used in these areas. On one day all cooking will be done in Woks and we will attempt to use chopsticks all day, to cook and eat! Campers will take home a six course “small plates” sampler from around the world on Friday.

Many cultures around the world have stories and legends about the "little people". You've heard their names: gnome, pixie, elf, fairy, goblin, leprechaun. Do they exist? Where do they live? Are the old stories true about them being responsible for taking the things that we lose? Join us as our expedition team visits some of Seattle's most secret places in search of evidence of those mysterious legendary beings. Maybe we'll even find a doorway to the Hidden Realm! What knowledge of "little people" can you share with the team as we: - Learn to read secret codes - Identify native plants and learn stories of their magical uses - Identify features of different habitats - Learn to identify signs of animal activity - Discover the art of route finding with map and compass.

Join us for another year of fun-filled outdoor adventure at Magnuson Park! Flowers and Fruits Camp is filled with hands-on nature exploration, songs, games, and nature crafts. It's designed to encourage curiosity and bonding with the natural world, and to develop big motor skills as well as dexterity. Learn the science behind fairy magic! Use chemistry to explore fairy flight and magic potions. Delve into mineralogy as we grow our own glittering crystals and probe the physics of fairy painting!

Kids will have a blast in this camp! Four days of play and other fun activities in one of Seattle's largest indoor playgrounds. Trikes, cars, riding toys galore, climb structures, obstacle courses, parachute play, craft-making, games, play houses, and more! Just like birthdays, slumber parties are a year around event for kids and who doesn't want to show off their new PJ party attire and goodies? In this class the girls will learn basic sewing techniques through making a pair of PJs (with pocket's of course), and a travel pillow with hidden pocket and a fun face on it. If we have enough time we will make a little drawstring tote to carry it all to and fro! A small materials list will be emailed before class.

Come join Seattle's Littlest Performers for a fun-filled summer of singing, dancing and drama! This show will include music from the Pirates of the Caribbean and an original tale of sea adventures. These pirates will stop their pirating ways, and gladly give back all the treasures, which they have taken from others. They will learn the importance of honest hard work.

Kids will learn lots about the very physical art of singing: from breathing deep and making lots of sound, to diction and expression from the emotional levels of the gut, the heart and the head. Everyone will have fun learning and creating words and music that express their ideas and dreams! Then those ideas will take form and be woven together with story, acrobatics and art as the kids create an original work of art for themselves to perform by week’s end.

Do you know a fashionista designer full of ideas and looking for a place to use them? Send them to Made to learn the fundamentals of fashion design, color, sewing techniques, and fashion illustration. We will work with the designers to create a clothing line based on a central theme of their preference, and then they will sew one of their designs to take home. This is a 3 day camp.
