Ropeworks’ jump rope camps are directed and run by World Jump Rope Champion and Cirque Du Soleil Artist Rene Bibaud. Boys and girls of all skill levels are invited to participate in our jump rope camps, which teach kids the following disciplines: single rope skills, partner routines, double Dutch, jumping long rope skills, group game choreography and more. Kids work together in a fun and rewarding environment of goal setting, best effort and team building. Play games, learn skills, develop new skills and stay fit in our fun-filled high energy program that really gets kids jumping! Camp culminates with a performance for friends and family.

Seattle Audubon offers hands-on, nature-focused day camps for children entering 1st – 6th grade, and overnight camps for students entering 7th – 9th grades. Come discover, explore, and learn more about the natural world around us! We also have volunteer opportunities for high school students (entering 10th - 12th grade) through our Junior Naturalist in Training Program. Create a naturalist's journal to keep recipes and memories. This theme-based weeklong day camp is a great way to have summer fun while learning about the fascinating world of the garden. Spend five days developing practical garden skills, exploring plants and discovering animals that live in Seattle Tilth's community learning gardens and Meridian Park. This camp is intended for those entering grades 1-4 in fall 2013.

If your teen or preteen loves gardening and working with younger students, this is for them! Junior Counselors help set-up and clean-up garden activities, assist Children's Garden staff, lead small group activities and learn more about organic gardening. Week-long placements offer all the fun of summer camp with the opportunity to develop leadership skills. Jr. Counselors come 30 minutes before campers arrive and stay 30 minutes after campers depart to help set-up and clean-up (these times are built into the listing below). In this week-long drama camp, we will learn the tricks of the trade, from stage terms to make-up, costumes, and props. Campers will play improvisation and drama games, learn how to read a script with a discerning eye, and deliver lines with Oscar-worthy expression. With the help of experienced actors and drama teachers, we will put on a production of dramatic proportions.

Summer @ TAF is a summer day camp for youth. Weekly programs are project-based learning experiences focused on STEM enrichment. Just like birthdays, slumber parties are a year around event for kids and who doesn't want to show off their new PJ party attire and goodies? In this class the girls will learn basic sewing techniques through making a pair of PJs (with pocket's of course), A Woobie (rice filled, microwaveable, warmers), a travel pillow with hidden pocket and a fun face on it, and a drawstring tote to carry their PJ supplies to and fro.  A small materials list will be emailed before class.
