Kids, bring a sack lunch and a sense of adventure! Each camp will consist of art, cooking, exploring, singing, dancing, and making new friends. Campers have the option to attend a drop-in camp on Friday or you may always choose to drop in for the day on other days ($40).

Learn to speak not just one but three languages that are spoken every day in our community: Mandarin, Khmer (Cambodian) and Japanese. Participants will develop knowledge and appreciation of each language and culture through hands on activities, basic writing practice, music, dance, fun games and both peer and professional instruction.

Art projects include melted crayon art, tie dye t-shirt, paper mache critter, sun-sensitive paper design, and painted paper owl, mermaid or seascape. Organized over three days this camp will allow the kids to prepare a two-course menu each day that will be shared with the other participants and each day they will also get to learn a new French style craft: flower jewelry one day, macarons magnets another, and link bracelet with a charm the third day (also called French friendship bracelet).

It's time to get out of the house and play outside! In this 3-day camp series kids will make a pair of capris, a t-shirt and a drawstring bag. Kids will learn the basics of sewing knitwear, pattern reading and other fundamental sewing techniques. Please note: This class is for kids who already have a firm understanding of the sewing machine and have experience with making clothing. A materials list will be emailed to you closer to the class date.

Le Monde Francophone! French camp for any level of fluency. Spend two weeks on beautiful Canoe Island, located in the San Juans. Polynesia, Africa, the Caribbean, North America, and Asia: explore other countries where French is spoken. Represent your chosen francophone country with your team as you compete in the Jeux de la Francophonie in your favorite sport and present your region in a World’s Fair of native foods, crafts, clothing, and games. Listen to Cajun music, try Vietnamese food, and paint your face like those in Vanuatu. This is the perfect session for those wanting more of an immersion experience.

This five night camp is focused on learning wilderness survival skills basics while practicing them daily at our school campus near Duvall. Campers will have opportunities to practice fire making, knife safety and carving, shelter construction and primitive cooking. They may choose to create their own fire kit, spoon, bowl or other similar craft to take home. Participants will also have the opportunity to sleep in shelters they have constructed from natural materials. They are sure to bring home amazing stories from this week with us! Survival Overnight Camp begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday and ends at 12 p.m. on Friday. Parents are encouraged to arrive at 11 a.m. on Friday. All youth overnight participants must return a signed Physician’s Medical Form upon registration. This is for the safety of our participants and our organization. Completion of this form will require a physical exam completed within one year of the course date, and an appointment with that physician for the form to be filled out. We appreciate your understanding.

Come create magical memories with us this summer as we design art, interact with domestic farm animals, splash in the pool, play camp games and meet other fellow budding artists! Have fun creating two arts and crafts projects per day while exploring many mediums including: tempera, acrylic, watercolor, oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, ink and more. Explore collage, clay, printmaking, painting, drawing, decoupage, crafts and recycled art! Between art classes, have fun playing with the bunnies, cats, chickens, duck and goose, piggies and goats! And, in between camp games, there is always time to have fun on the trampoline or in the pool with friends. This week's theme: Art Camp's Got Talent. Walk the red carpet, let your inner star shine while we rock out during this week of glam and music, which culminates into a fabulous talent show!

Work with a variety of different fine art materials including charcoal, watercolor pencils, pastels, collage, wire sculpture and more! This general art camp will give the budding artist the opportunity to grow, explore and express.
