Summer comes and goes each year but fashionable wardrobe stapes are forever. In this class the kids learn sewing basics, using patterns and finishing techniques while creating a maxi dress, wrap skirt and cinch purse. Just what every fashionable girl needs in her wardrobe! Please note: This class is for kids who already have a firm understanding of the sewing machine. A materials list will be emailed to you closer to the class date.

This five night camp is focused on learning wilderness survival skills basics while practicing them daily at our school campus near Duvall. Campers will have opportunities to practice fire making, knife safety and carving, shelter construction and primitive cooking. They may choose to create their own fire kit, spoon, bowl or other similar craft to take home. Participants will also have the opportunity to sleep in shelters they have constructed from natural materials. They are sure to bring home amazing stories from this week with us! Survival Overnight Camp begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday and ends at 12 p.m. on Friday. Parents are encouraged to arrive at 11 a.m. on Friday. All youth overnight participants must return a signed Physician’s Medical Form upon registration. This is for the safety of our participants and our organization. Completion of this form will require a physical exam completed within one year of the course date, and an appointment with that physician for the form to be filled out. We appreciate your understanding.

Come create magical memories with us this summer as we design art, interact with domestic farm animals, splash in the pool, play camp games and meet other fellow budding artists! Have fun creating two arts and crafts projects per day while exploring many mediums including: tempera, acrylic, watercolor, oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, ink and more. Explore collage, clay, printmaking, painting, drawing, decoupage, crafts and recycled art! Between art classes, have fun playing with the bunnies, cats, chickens, duck and goose, piggies and goats! And, in between camp games, there is always time to have fun on the trampoline or in the pool with friends. This week's theme: Adventure Time -  Discover artful fairies, explore the world of superheroes, and uncover the art of cartooning!

Camp Sprouting Spirits teaches your child how to regulate their emotions, be mindful, respond to stress, and changes in a healthy way. We make most of our snacks, like pizza, a smoothie bar, and “rainbow salad”, made with organic and locally grown produce whenever possible. We also have a yoga or music class every day plus an arts and crafts project. Our activities and games promote compassion, creativity, co-operation, teamwork, and patience. The entire camp is outdoors and we walk to the Rose Garden daily! We emphasize nature, yoga, dance, music, games, cooking, building fairy-houses. Every child has a blast at Sprouting Spirits! Dabble into dance and nurture your inner artist! This four-day camp includes a daily ballet class plus one enrichment class (such as modern, stretching/conditioning, character and variations). Participants also have a one-hour art class each day that relates to their studio work.

We’ll also build nature journals that we’ll use all week to keep track of our sketches and notes as we develop our naturalist skills. This camp is perfect for campers who love art and spending time outdoors.
