Join us for an adventuresome two-day camp, exploring the diverse ecosystems of Magnuson Park with advanced nature science activities, and learning about native plants and peoples. Coast-to-Coast campers will explore shoreline trails and habitats, Wetlands campers will explore all the wetland trails in the park, and Woodlands campers will explore shady spots from the Kite Hill Forest to Promontory Point. Les Chevaliers! French camp for any level of fluency. Spend two weeks on beautiful Canoe Island, located in the San Juans. Celebrate chivalry, knights, kings, and queens from les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde to the Middle Ages. Learn to fence, become Lancelot or Guinevere in theatrical productions, and practice archery and traditional arts and crafts. Use a trébuchet, and compete in the ring jousting course with your team. Work toward knighthood through acts of chivalry and end with a Medieval Feast.

China is a truly mouthwatering destination for any photographer. China’s cities are host to a colorful array of people and activity set against a back drop of sharp contrast where ancient streets and old traditions mix with modern skyscrapers and the latest technology. Despite the rapid pace of modernization throughout much of China, on this Global Family Travels tour, you will experience a land of ancient wonders as you walk along the famous Great Wall, explore remarkable archaeological sites, and visit remote villages where the old customs are still observed. Note: Dates subject to confirmation.

This five night camp is focused on learning wilderness survival skills basics while practicing them daily at our school campus near Duvall. Campers will have opportunities to practice fire making, knife safety and carving, shelter construction and primitive cooking. They may choose to create their own fire kit, spoon, bowl or other similar craft to take home. Participants will also have the opportunity to sleep in shelters they have constructed from natural materials. They are sure to bring home amazing stories from this week with us! Survival Overnight Camp begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday and ends at 12 p.m. on Friday. Parents are encouraged to arrive at 11 a.m. on Friday. All youth overnight participants must return a signed Physician’s Medical Form upon registration. This is for the safety of our participants and our organization. Completion of this form will require a physical exam completed within one year of the course date, and an appointment with that physician for the form to be filled out. We appreciate your understanding.

If your teen or preteen loves gardening and working with younger students, this is for them! Junior Counselors help set-up and clean-up garden activities, assist Children's Garden staff, lead small group activities and learn more about organic gardening. Week-long placements offer all the fun of summer camp with the opportunity to develop leadership skills. Jr. Counselors come 30 minutes before campers arrive and stay 30 minutes after campers depart to help set-up and clean-up (these times are built into the listing below). Leadership training and orientation will be provided.

From racecars to Battletracks, this is a hands-on and minds-on camp suitable for LEGO® novices to "maniacs." Fight a dragon, fly in outer space, sun in Hawaii, and more! Take home a DVD of the video you have produced. Note: Register for both “Video Animated Storytelling” and “Green Screen Video Mania” together in the same week and save.

By popular demand we are doing our very first Double Take: Doll and Girl Outfits. Who doesn't love matching outfits? In this class we will make this super cute tunic dress/tunic for both girl and doll. We will go over sewing basics as well as how to cut out and read a sewing pattern. A small materials list will be emailed before class.

Camp Blast Off!: What does it take to get into space? Lots of rocket power! Test out different ‘rockets’ to see which ones will climb the highest. Design your custom space cruiser and then build it. Make and launch a different rocket each day.

Pick a fantasy scene, and choose from our computer animated avatars to tell a story straight from your imagination! Narrate with your own voice, add music and sound effects, but the DVD and "voila"! Your video masterpiece.

It's time to get out of the house and play outside! In this 3-day camp series kids will make a pair of capris, a t-shirt and a drawstring bag. Kids will learn the basics of sewing knitwear, pattern reading and other fundamental sewing techniques. Please note: This class is for kids who already have a firm understanding of the sewing machine and have experience with making clothing. A materials list will be emailed to you closer to the class date.
