Kids, bring a sack lunch and a sense of adventure! Each camp will consist of art, cooking, exploring, singing, dancing, and making new friends. Campers have the option to attend a drop-in camp on Friday or you may always choose to drop in for the day on other days ($40).

Wilderness Awareness School has partnered together with Oxbow Farm, and we are serving up something very special this summer! During this week of daily adventures your child will explore the edge where Farm and Forest meet. In addition to Wilderness Awareness School’s unique day camp experience learning about plants, mammals, tracking, birds and survival skills…we’re down on the farm! Kids will make their own sun tea, fresh fruit popsicles, and farm burritos. They will dig roots and pick fruits, save, sow, and snack on seeds. On the final day, we will harvest produce for an end-of-week Happy Camper Farmers Market! Each day we enjoy storytelling under the Maple Tree, as well as songs, crafts, and play surrounding food, farm and forest life. Camp is held at Oxbow Farm in the Snoqualmie Valley (about 15 minutes from Redmond). It is on a 120-acre property, with 20 acres of certified organic vegetables, berries and tree fruit in cultivation for the fresh market. This full-day experience for the younger child is appropriate for those who are ready to not only be away from home, but also active and engaged for this length of time! (We also have two half-day Wild Sprouts camps for ages 4-6.)

Join us for another year of fun-filled outdoor adventure at Magnuson Park! Winged Wonders Camp is filled with hands-on nature exploration, songs, games, and nature crafts. It's designed to encourage curiosity and bonding with the natural world, and to develop big motor skills as well as dexterity. Did you ever think it would be fun to write a show or play and then act it out? If so, this is the camp for you! This camp allows participants to bring their imagination and voice to their writing, within a safe, fun and engaging environment. From short story writing, poetry and art, stage writing, to newspaper reporting, non-fiction writing or digital comic books participants get to explore her creative side, while achieving a higher level of academic excellence.

Organized over three days this camp will allow the kids to prepare a two-course menu each day that will be shared with the other participants and each day they will also get to learn a new French style craft: flower jewelry one day, macarons magnets another, and link bracelet with a charm the third day (also called French friendship bracelet).

Do you know a fashionista designer full of ideas and looking for a place to use them? Send them to Made to learn the fundamentals of fashion design, color, sewing techniques, and fashion illustration. We will work with the designers to create a clothing line based on a central theme of their preference, and then they will sew one of their designs to take home. This is a 3 day camp.

Ekone Ranch offers a one-of-a-kind camp program on 1060 acres of canyonlands, forests and meadows near the Columbia Gorge. Our residential, co-ed camp program features small groups of no more than 20 children per session and a 6:1 camper/staff ratio or better. Horse camp sessions emphasize the special relationship between children and horses. Campers spend many hours each day with our wonderful horses, grooming, learning groundwork, practicing in the arena, and going on long trail rides through spectacular country. We ride bareback and western. When not with the horses, campers are engaged in a variety of art projects, nature explorations, swimming, ranch activities and chores. Our garden-fresh, from-scratch food is a highlight of the camp experience (many a camper has learned to love their vegetables in the Yummy Tummy Cafe). Campers sleep in our A-frame longhouse, in tipis, under the stars, or in the hay barn where we listen to the horses breathe all night long. This is one of our non-horse focused camps. Young women are invited  to spend a week on a journey of self-discovery in nature. Explore your inner wisdom, passions and creativity through daily practices of meditation, journaling, art, movement, drumming, and horse play. This life-changing week will include solo time for reflection, a ceremonial  sweat, sharing in group council and a ceremony welcoming you into womanhood. We will learn how plants and animals are our allies as we walk the land, discover  our spirit animals and dance the night away!

This one-week trip is designed for high school students to take a moment to pause and listen, check in with themselves, and return with renewed purpose and inspiration for their life paths. This journey is a safe place to learn about dealing with new challenges that arise for teens. It encourages the process of maturation among a community of mentors and peers who know how to be supportive and honest. Participants learn skills in wilderness living and in navigating their own inner journey.

This five-night camp is devoted to developing the keen awareness demonstrated by the ancient ”scouts” of many cultures. These were the people who knew the landscape and everything that was happening on it in order to keep their people safe and healthy in the face of the challenges of living from the land. Often remaining invisible, their abilities seemed like magic. Through adventures with camouflage, bird language (the alarm system of the forest), wildlife and human tracking, stealthy movement, and wild edible plants, we begin to enter the world of the scout. Participants in this camp at our school campus near Duvall will likely never see nature the same way again! Scout Overnight Camp begins at 1 p.m. on Sunday and ends at 12 p.m. on Friday. Parents are encouraged to arrive at 11 a.m. on Friday All youth overnight participants must return a signed Physician’s Medical Form by June 1. This is for the safety of our participants and our organization. Completion of this form will require a physical exam completed within one year of the course date, and an appointment with that physician for the form to be filled out. Come create magical memories with us this summer as we design art, interact with domestic farm animals, splash in the pool, play camp games and meet other fellow budding artists! Have fun creating two arts and crafts projects per day while exploring many mediums including: tempera, acrylic, watercolor, oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, ink and more. Explore collage, clay, printmaking, painting, drawing, decoupage, crafts and recycled art! Between art classes, have fun playing with the bunnies, cats, chickens, duck and goose, piggies and goats! And, in between camp games, there is always time to have fun on the trampoline or in the pool with friends. This week's theme: Mad Scientists: Art and Science join forces as we have fun,learn,explore and experiment with art together!

Come draw and paint a variety of subjects in this colorful camp! Artists will learn new techniques with watercolor paints, oil pastels and acrylics. Students will paint on canvas, watercolor paper and wood.

In this inspiring program youth will learn: Yoga poses that increase physical strength and self confidence, breathing/meditation methods to help calm your body and mind, nutritional knowledge of how food affects mood, energy and vitality, methods for easy relaxation and stress management, the power of laughter and positive thinking, how to build strong, healthy relationships and creative expression through art and journaling. During this camp we will focus on specific regions of the world, Europe, China, The Middle East and South America. We will learn about the food and culture of these regions and learn different cooking methods and tools that are used in these areas. On one day all cooking will be done in Woks and we will attempt to use chopsticks all day, to cook and eat! Campers will take home a six course “small plates” sampler from around the world on Friday.

Camp Sprouting Spirits teaches your child how to regulate their emotions, be mindful, respond to stress, and changes in a healthy way. We make most of our snacks, like pizza, a smoothie bar, and “rainbow salad”, made with organic and locally grown produce whenever possible. We also have a yoga or music class every day plus an arts and crafts project. Our activities and games promote compassion, creativity, co-operation, teamwork, and patience. The entire camp is outdoors and we walk to the Rose Garden daily! We emphasize nature, yoga, dance, music, games, cooking, building fairy-houses. Every child has a blast at Sprouting Spirits! Calling all future engineers! This week we’ll be designing and building our own creations using Lego kits. We will learn about some of the difficulties that real engineers, like Leonardo da Vinci, faced and the solutions they created in making real machines.

Did you ever think it would be fun to write a show or play and then act it out? If so, this is the camp for you! Through exciting lessons and activities you will learn acting techniques and the basic elements to write a fantastic, original, one-act stage play. We will “pitch” story ideas and play games to get your brilliant ideas from the page to the stage. On the last day of camp, you will perform a staged reading of your work (no memorization necessary). A Midsummer Night's Dream: Lovers, fairies, and magical fools all converge on a perfect Midsummer’s night to dream together a dream full of promise, intrigue and just pure fun. Join GreenStage in this special opportunity for enrichment and fun this summer. In our one week camps, kids will rehearse and perform an abbreviated version of one of Shakespeare’s plays. Everyone gets a role! Audition and resume tips will be covered and head shots (actor photos) will be taken by a professional photographer. Friday rehearsal goes until 3 pm with the performance starting at 3 pm sharp. Costumes are provided. All you need to provide is a sack lunch and drink daily. Camps are directed by GreenStage teaching staff.
