Phoenix Farm's Day Camps are designed for beginner-level riders ages 6 and up. The camp covers all aspects of basic horsemanship and care of the horse. Class sizes are kept small to provide a personalized approach to beginning riding. Our camp instructors have over 24 years of combined teaching experience, and focus on safety first, then fun and correct form. Each daily session includes a 1.5 hour English riding lesson. Riders will be matched to a pony or horse for the entire week and will learn to tack, untack, clean, and care for their horses. At the end of the week, students will have the opportunity to paticipate in a demonstration/show to parents of what they've learned that week--great way to celebrate their accomplishments!
