Come create magical memories with us this summer as we design art, interact with domestic farm animals, splash in the pool, play camp games and meet other fellow budding artists! Have fun creating two arts and crafts projects per day while exploring many mediums including: tempera, acrylic, watercolor, oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, ink and more. Explore collage, clay, printmaking, painting, drawing, decoupage, crafts and recycled art! Between art classes, have fun playing with the bunnies, cats, chickens, duck and goose, piggies and goats! And, in between camp games, there is always time to have fun on the trampoline or in the pool with friends. This week's theme: Mad Scientists: Art and Science join forces as we have fun,learn,explore and experiment with art together!

Come draw and paint a variety of subjects in this colorful camp! Artists will learn new techniques with watercolor paints, oil pastels and acrylics. Students will paint on canvas, watercolor paper and wood.

In this inspiring program youth will learn: Yoga poses that increase physical strength and self confidence, breathing/meditation methods to help calm your body and mind, nutritional knowledge of how food affects mood, energy and vitality, methods for easy relaxation and stress management, the power of laughter and positive thinking, how to build strong, healthy relationships and creative expression through art and journaling. During this camp we will focus on specific regions of the world, Europe, China, The Middle East and South America. We will learn about the food and culture of these regions and learn different cooking methods and tools that are used in these areas. On one day all cooking will be done in Woks and we will attempt to use chopsticks all day, to cook and eat! Campers will take home a six course “small plates” sampler from around the world on Friday.

Camp Sprouting Spirits teaches your child how to regulate their emotions, be mindful, respond to stress, and changes in a healthy way. We make most of our snacks, like pizza, a smoothie bar, and “rainbow salad”, made with organic and locally grown produce whenever possible. We also have a yoga or music class every day plus an arts and crafts project. Our activities and games promote compassion, creativity, co-operation, teamwork, and patience. Calling all future engineers! This week we’ll be designing and building our own creations using Lego kits. We will learn about some of the difficulties that real engineers, like Leonardo da Vinci, faced and the solutions they created in making real machines.

Did you ever think it would be fun to write a show or play and then act it out? If so, this is the camp for you! Through exciting lessons and activities you will learn acting techniques and the basic elements to write a fantastic, original, one-act stage play. We will “pitch” story ideas and play games to get your brilliant ideas from the page to the stage. On the last day of camp, you will perform a staged reading of your work (no memorization necessary). A Midsummer Night's Dream: Lovers, fairies, and magical fools all converge on a perfect Midsummer’s night to dream together a dream full of promise, intrigue and just pure fun. Join GreenStage in this special opportunity for enrichment and fun this summer. In our one week camps, kids will rehearse and perform an abbreviated version of one of Shakespeare’s plays. Everyone gets a role! Audition and resume tips will be covered and head shots (actor photos) will be taken by a professional photographer. Friday rehearsal goes until 3 pm with the performance starting at 3 pm sharp. Costumes are provided. All you need to provide is a sack lunch and drink daily. Camps are directed by GreenStage teaching staff.

This camp is for any skater age 5 and up who has completed Basic 3. If you are unsure of your level, skaters must be tested at Highland Ice arena prior to admission to the class. Schedule your test with Mrs. Green. Are you ready to Jump Ahead to the next level in your ice skating? Here's the class for you! This one week intensive course will emphasize mastery of the upper levels of USFSA Basic Skills & Freestyle. Skaters will learn turn & edge skills, advanced stroking, teamwork, a group skating program and fun. The class will learn a group number which they will perform for family and friends on Friday at 3:25 pm. Skaters are encouraged to join our Skater Training Program after completing Jump Ahead.

Summer time is fun time! Have an outstanding time developing your sports skills at a fun-filled camp with knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff. Little Champs is focused on the FUNdamentals that are age appropriate and show an emphasis on health and sportsmanship. Campers wil be grouped by age.
