Craftastic!
Block after block of crafts booths, live entertainment and performers, and an excellent Kidsfair, where children can create crafts of their own….it’s the Bellevue Arts Museum ArtsFair! Herd your critters onto the ferry for a one-day fest of pickin’ and vittles’…it’s the Bainbridge Bluegrass Festival and Family Fun Fair! The one-day family music festival is also a fundraiser for the historic Transmitter Building in the park, which is being converted into a children's activity center. Check out children's games, merchant booths and a bonus stage with special music for children. The park also has a walking trail, duck pond and the beautifully designed KidsUp! Playground. Spokes people
Pull on those slinky padded shorts, it’s time for the 20th annual Seafair bike ride in North Bend/Snoqualmie -- featuring long rides for the dedicated and a family ride for the trail-a-bike set. The easy four-mile family ride takes you through downtown Snoqualmie with a stop at Snoaqualmie Elementary School for a visit with Gennie Blue the Clown. Start and finish at Meadowbrook Farm, and stick around for an afterparty that includes food, entertainment by juggling duo Brothers from Different Mothers and family fun. Riders are treated to free breakfast and lunch, and great food along the route. 1599 Boalch Ave. N.W., North Bend. Day-of registration: adults $40, kids $8.
