Killer (whale) carnival
Celebrate with your pod at Silverdale Whaling Days! The Seafair party includes fireworks (Friday, 10 p.m.), daily entertainment on the Family Stage, a kids' area with carnival rides, canoe races, bike rodeo, pancake breakfast (Saturday, 6 a.m.-1 p.m.), the Great Kitsap Duck Race, and a parade (Saturday, 10 a.m.-noon). Gitcher critters down for a one-day fest of pickin’ and vittles’…it’s the Bainbridge Bluegrass Festival and Family Fun Fair! The one-day family music festival is also a fundraiser for the historic Transmitter Building in the park, which is being tricked out as a kids' activity center. Check out children's games, merchant booths and a bonus stage with special music for children. The park also has a walking trail, duck pond and the extra-special KidsUp! Playground.
