Just ducky
Things at Farmer Brown's farm go hilariously sideways when he leaves for a much-needed vacation in Giggle, Giggle, Quack: A Musical, presented by Oregon Children's Theatre. The farmer leaves written instructions for his brother Bob, but Duck loosens up the rules with a few creative edits -- and the animals party down with pizza, movies and a bubble bath. $13-$24. Give 'em an Inch...
A very very very tiny boy saves Japan from a fearsome ogre in Little One Inch, a bunraku-style adaptation of a Japanese folk tale by Tears of Joy Theater. Arrive half an hour before Saturday and Sunday afternoon shows for puppet-making activities, and stick around after the show for a short Q&A. $14-$16. All ages. Winnigstad Theater, 1111 S.W. Drum fun

El Condor pasa
Geraldo Calderon and Grupo Condor treat families to traditional South American folk tunes -- complete with Latin American stringed instruments, water drums, pan flutes and turtle shell percussion -- at a concert presented by volunteers of PCPA as a way of thanking the community for supporting the arts.
