Get inspired...or scratch your head at the artwork of more than 450 Kent students at the Kent Student Art Walk. Rocket, man

A tad spacey
This week's free family flick at the library is the animated space adventure, Planet 51 (PG), starring Dwayne Johnson and Jessica Biel. Chuck the astronaut lands on a distant planet filled with little green people - and they think HE is the alien! All ages. Tacoma Main Library, 1102 Tacoma Ave. S., Tacoma. Pump you up

Green bear
Yes, it's a new St. Paddy's Day tradition for non-drinkers: A celebration of green -- and bears -- is part of the zoo's enrichment program. This weekend, the polar bears and other critters get special green noms and toys. Polar bears, 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.; elephants, 2 p.m.; sea otters and Asian Forest Sanctuary animals, all day. Yum!
