Culture club

Published on: December 30, 2013

Props to the King County Library System for its special kid-oriented events. It's a real gift to area parents to have such high-quality programming offered on such a regular basis -- and for free. (Gotta love the free.)

Since February, the Many Voices, One Land cultural celebration has brought Indian dance, Liberian storytelling and a whole bunch of other cool multi-cultural performances to libraries around the area.

All is not lost if you haven't made it out yet! There's a Masai folktale at the Mercer Island branch this evening, and shows in Shoreline, Seattle, Bellevue, Federal Way and Snoqualmie through Monday.
