Mona Locke moderates event on women and work
For Immediate Release
April 3, 2008
ParentMap presents: “Opting In/Opting Out in 2008”
“Should I go back to work?” “Can I afford to stay home full time?” “How can I fit work into my family life?” These and many more questions asked by moms every day will be discussed at a special ParentMap’s Pathways event on Tuesday, April 29. Panelists include seven dynamic and successful local women, each with a different story to tell about their journey to family/work/personal balance and integration.
Mona Locke will moderate what promises to be a lively discussion, as each panelist – including two career coaches – share their personal stories and offer inspiration and the message: There is no “right” or “wrong” in this ongoing debate and struggle for many young mothers. The program will begin with a 90-minute resource fair featuring women-owned business and services in our community. Light refreshments will be served.
