As they've done with past albums, Recess Monkey is recording its latest CD, space-themed The Final Funktier, with the help of its smallest fans. Head to the University Child Development Center in Seattle on Saturday, Feb. 13, to get in on some music and sing along as the tapes (or whatever it is they use these days) roll.
To attend, visit the band's site and pre-order a copy of the new CD for 25 bucks -- that'll be your guaranteed ticket in the door, and you'll get the CD in your hot little hands weeks before all the other kids. (You can try just showing up on the day of without prepaying, but tickets will be limited, and you don't want to have to explain that to the children, do you?)
