Woodinville’s Molbak’s Home + Garden also gets all decked out for the holidays, with poinsettias of every size and color — from pale green to deep burgundy — plus greenery, lights and decorated trees, including a 14-foot poinsettia tree. A host of holiday events is on the docket this year, including the Dickens Carolers performing Sunday, Nov. 27, an appearance by The Elf (think the movie character) Saturday, Dec. 3, and — this is the important part — free Danish Kringle served Saturdays and Sundays, Nov. 26–Dec. 18, noon–3 p.m. Get in line!

Details: Molbak’s is open daily, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Check the full calendar of holiday events and plan a visit. It’s free to browse but note there are many pretty things to buy, too.

Next up: more trees
