
Less stressy recipes
Baking is a great way to de-stress, and as this pandemic continues, many of us are donning our aprons and baking to get through another long day in lockdown. I love baking and would consider myself a competent baker, but when you throw my kids (a 3-year-old and a 5-year old) into the mix, things can get messy and stressy fast.
Like many of us, I am working and multitasking these days, so I am trying to simplify and pare back my normal baking routine. I am opting for simple recipes that are easy enough for the kids to help with and can also serve as healthy-ish snacks for the week.
It’s been a win-win. The kids enjoy helping me measure the ingredients, stir and of course eat the goodies, and I get another task knocked off my growing to-do list.
